Each week we will be baking Organic Artisan Breads and selling them through our tiny honour box at the foot of our driveway. Hello, my name is Craig, and I am the founder of the Honour Box Bakery. Each week I bake a selection of traditional organic artisan sourdough breads as well as some goodies and sell them through our honour box at the foot of our driveway here in Stillwater. I love making br

ead and after having seen all the egg honour boxes (which I love to buy from) in the region I thought it would be a great way to connect people with quality, healthy, organic sourdough bread. I am a Red Seal Journeyman and Food Safe Certified Baker who is committed to providing a source of organic, wholesome bread.

Hello Everyone, the September Southie here. I said I would post our menu for the last long weekend of the summer.... oh my.
Just fyi we will be open both Friday and Saturday. If you need bread as well as treats best to come Friday, we will have our Rustic French, Baguette and Medium Rye. Lots of Cinnamon Buns, Ginger Cookies, Apple Turn Overs, Blackberry Pear Galette, Cheese and Chive Scones, Local Apple Apple Pie and more.
On Saturday I will do Cinnamon Bums, my Rustic Butter Croissants, Cheese Danish again, and a few other delights. And if I have the energy, YES, a bit more bread.
The big music fest is on down south here so if your close by we hope you stop in. Open at 1pm both days. Our address is: 12251 Arbour Drive in Downtown Stillwater.

I think I'm a September Southie....I love this time of year.......and you?
Local fruit, fall storms and cozy days to come.
I am in the wee bakery prepping a few things so the weekend goes smoothly. Lots of local fruit will make its way into this weekends baking and, yes I am already thinking about Pumpkin Pies for Thanks Giving. We will officially start taking orders on the 12th of September. I will post more details before then.
We will be open both Friday and Saturday this long weekend at 1pm both days. I will post a more complete menu tomorrow.

A few things will be going in the box today. Fresh Rustic Butter Croissants, Blueberry Cinnamon Buns, Eccles, a few Coffee Cakes, Apple Blackberry Pie.... just in case you need a desert or ammo for tomorrows potluck brunch.

Southies.... clearly the weather has shifted a little. Is that Autumn I am feeling in the morning air! Oh gosh.
But regardless of the season or the rain I'm in the bakery prepping for our weekly bake day which is tomorrow, Friday August 28th at 1pm. In case you don't know, we are located at 12251 Arbour Drive in what I call downtown Stillwater.
We will be stocking the box with great Organic Sourdough Breads and a broad line of pastry like Eccles Cakes, Apple Turn Overs, Fruit Galettes ( which are best described as an open face, easy to eat picnic pie for 2-4 people) Butter Tarts and 3 types of butter cookies, Ginger, GF Peanut Butter and Oatmeal Raisin Chocolate Chip plus many more delicious items.

Yes I know there's a lot going on in town but........there's so much to do here in the garden and the traffic is just so bad in town! Lol.
Sounds like a good reason to make a fresh sourdough croissant sandwich and rest.
Yes, i was busy this morning. FRESH Croissants, Arles Rustic French Bread, some Cheese and Chive Biscuits/scones, Apple Turn Overs and some Eccles.

Can you smell the croissants? Lol.
I got up early again.
Rustic French Organic Sourdough in the box at NOON TODAY along with..... Rustic Butter Croissants, Black and Blue Berry Galettes, Blueberry Cinnamon Buns, Apple Blackberry Coffee Cakes, Eccles, Butter Tarts and a few bags of the Humble Oatmeal Raisin Cookie.

Open at 12pm today as we have our neighborhood yard party to attend. Haha.
