Honour Box Bakery This page is to inform and promote what we do at the Honour Box Bakery, Stillwater, qathet, BC. We hope you will come to know us.

Each week we will be baking Organic Artisan Breads and selling them through our tiny honour box at the foot of our driveway. Hello, my name is Craig, and I am the founder of the Honour Box Bakery. Each week I bake a selection of traditional organic artisan sourdough breads as well as some goodies and sell them through our honour box at the foot of our driveway here in Stillwater. I love making bread and after having seen all the egg honour boxes (which I love to buy from) in the region I thought it would be a great way to connect people with quality, healthy, organic sourdough bread. I am a Red Seal Journeyman and Food Safe Certified Baker who is committed to providing a source of organic, wholesome bread.

Good Morning Southies! And what a morning it is.
Bake day is on for tomorrow Saturday October 17th at 1pm.
Oh ya and am I excited.
Gonna do a few things differently.... well not that different, don't worry.
Fresh Buttery Croissants and some Cheese Croissants on a Saturday for one. And I have heard a few people asking about Butter Horns again, so yes a batch of those. These along with the Medium Rye I haven't made in a while feels like me shaking things up!
I also bought an old school Bun Cutter yesterday from my friends at Cottage Bakery so we might even have some of my almost world famous Utility Buns. ( utility buns in that it can be a dinner bun, a hotdog bun, a hamburger bun or sandwich bun)
There ya go.
See you tomorrow. We are located at 12251 Arbour Drive in Downtown Stillwater.

Wow...Was that a fall rain storm last night or what. Batten down the hatches Southies! Its also Pie day Bake Day tomorrow so get yur cozies on and come prepare for fall. Pumpkin pie orders are closed now. Thank you everyone. So appreciate the love.
We will have other fall goodles in the box as well so don't be shy, including a few pies just in case.

Good Morning Southies! Yes its Bake Day Saturday!
You could also call it Pie Day. Pumpkin and Apple. Orders close of at 3pm today and I do still have room for a few more. Thank you to our friends and supporters gatheredfarm for the beautiful Styrian Organic Pumpkins. They offer such great products and their Farm Stand is open 7 days a week! Unlike us...lol. (sorry)
Aside from pies, many of your weekly favorites will be there Eccles, Apple Turn Overs, Ginger cookies and I was thinking of Apple Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Buns as well as some Blue Berry. And of course , our Organic Sourdoughs.

A window in my bakery faces east. I welcome the early morning sun as it cascades through that portal. This mornings apple turn overs look particularily delightful in that light. So glad to be able to bake for you all.

Southies....It's been a fun but busy day in the wee bakery today.
So.... I got a request for Butterhorns... a real Butterhorn. So, yes I made a bunch. A butterhorn if you don't know is a rolled danish pastry with icing and walnuts on top. The filling so to speak is Butter and I increased the amout folded into the dough so you could really taste it. Butter and Walnuts is a pretty nice combo.

I will also have the usual suspects... BB Cin Buns, Eccles, Apple TO's, ButterrrrrrTarts, Organic Sourdoughs and a few varieties of cookies.

Saturday is on my mind Face Book.... Saturday. Thats our new bake day. Our goal is to serve as many people as we can and we feel Saturday is best. Same time, same place, new day. And maybe over the fall and winter some new treats like Butterhorns and Pumpkin Pie.
Which, if you haven't yet put in your order for PP please do, it allows me to more accurately buy the right amount of local pumpkins.
