I’ve been making Joëlle & Annabelle’s cookies since they were 8! As you may know, I’m much more lenient to mixing themes if you are ordering for twins (as an identical twin myself). 😉

We usually try to mix themes into the same order - but this time I decided to make them each their own box: each complete with a few different characters cookies each and printed cookies with age/name. The horses are meant to be Roman Nose horses - which I attempted to do by curving the horse noses inward to be more concave. 🐴

She’s in her thirties and silly goose era! Only guidelines: she’s 30, loves pink, Silly Goose and Taylor Swift! So obviously I had to create this pink explosion, and seek out the best Taylor quotes. Am I the only who immediately sings the songs in my head when reading these lyrics?

I actually think that maybe 99% of the people here don’t know the true origin story of this business. It wasn’t in 2020 when the pandemic started, it was in 2013 when we decided to sell vegan cupcakes at the farmers’ market.

It’s so cringe, that I’d prefer to just forget it happened altogether. But there’s still that part of me that’s so proud of the scrap of nothingness I’ve turned into the busy business I have today.

If by chance this couple ever sees this, thank YOU for believing in a few silly 19 year olds! But today, you’ll get a responsible 32 year old that will do a heck of a lot better job. 🤭

Completely obsessed with this fishing set for Ayline! The goal was: realistic fish, but with her favourite colours of pink, purple and yellow.

My new obsession is printing backgrounds and/or fish scales in this case, which I then added glitter to so she could really sparkle. The Rainbow trout also seemed like a perfect addition to the set, with some airbrushed pink. 🎣

An Honest Update (Read through images first) 🙂

✨Raising my Prices - I’ve already been giving out higher quotes to better reflect where my current skill level is at, in addition to the rising cost of supplies. While my cookies are certainly not cheap cookies, I believe they are very reasonably priced for the amount of work that goes into them.

✨ Being more selective about which orders I actually feel excited about taking on. Because usually if I’m not that excited, it’s when I’m not offering you my best work. Likewise if I feel like *you* are very excited, this helps a lot too!

✨ Prioritizing large printed orders for the late fall and winter months, in addition to decorating classes.

✨A few flash sales and *possibly* pre-sales for holidays.

I’m honestly not sure what’s in store for the future of this little business. I think it’s so cool to have enough demand that I could actually be offering some *very* cool jobs to people! I think about it a lot, but for now I’m sticking to my quiet life in my own space.
