Another Harvest Fest in the books. 🍂🤎

Days like today remind me just how lucky Sift is.

To everyone who stopped by, waited in line, grabbed your favourites, tried something new, shared a kind word, or simply came in to say hello — thank you. This community continues to show up for our little bakery in ways I will never take for granted.

But I need to give the biggest love to this crew. 🥹

Small business days like Harvest Fest are busy, messy, fast, loud and a whole lot of work behind the scenes — and these incredible women absolutely SHOW UP. Every single one of them brings something different to Sift, and every single one of them matters. They work hard, make me laugh, take care of our customers, take care of each other, and somehow keep things moving even when we're absolutely slammed.

I may own Sift, but Sift is not a one-woman show. What we did today happened because of this team, and I couldn't be more proud or more grateful to have them beside me.

To my crew — you're amazing. Truly. Thank you for caring about this little bakery like you do. 🤎

And Newcastle — thank you for another ridiculously fun Harvest Fest. We are tired, covered in buttercream, and our feet hurt... but our hearts are very, very full. 🍁✨

Flaky, buttery, caramel-y perfection. 🍎✨

Our Apple Caramel Danishes are made completely from scratch in-house — laminated pastry, warmly spiced apples and a generous drizzle of caramel, because October officially calls for pastries that taste like fall. 🍂

Fresh from the oven and on the counter today. Come get one while they’re still here. 🤎

These little apple + gingham pumpkin sugar cookies are just the beginning. 🤎

We absolutely LOVE being part of Harvest Fest every year, and we can’t wait to see downtown Newcastle buzzing again.

There’s shortbread… and then there’s Millionaire Shortbread. ✨

Buttery shortbread, a thick layer of gooey caramel, and chocolate on top — rich, ridiculously good, and absolutely worth the crumbs.

Basically, if a Twix got a bakery glow-up. 🤎

Millionaire Shortbread is in the case this weekend — come get one before they disappear.

45 today. 🥳🎂

Another trip around the sun, another year of getting to do this crazy little bakery thing that I love so. 🤎

And since I get to make the rules … I brought back MY favourite Sift latte.

✨ STICKY TOFFEE LATTE ✨

It’s back just for my birthday week — and we’re celebrating 45 with $4.50 Sticky Toffee Lattes hot or iced. 🎂☕️

And because one favourite clearly wasn't enough, your latte comes with a mini London Fog Shortbread — my favourite Sift cookie.

Come celebrate 45 with me this week. 🍂🤎

Cheers to 45! 🥂
