Made freshly picked local Blueberry Butter Tarts for the Matiowski Farmers’ Market tomorrow! The few that I have had at the Market have been very popular, so come by and get yours tomorrow before they’re gone!

As long as I can still get freshly picked blueberries, I will make these available as well as all the Blueberry Scones. They are pretty yummy! 😋

WHAT A WEEK! It’s been one of the busiest weeks of the summer so far!

After completing an order of custom decorated sugar cookies for Dr Dave McDermid’s, Cheers and Beers to 43 Years!, Retirement Party and baking over 1,200 drop and Imperial cookies, 21 Dozen Maple Pecan, Maple Raisin, and fresh Blueberry Butter Tarts, 4 Dozen scones, and dozens of Rice Krispie treats, to a near sell out (only had a few loose cookies and a few pkgs of Imperials left), I took a much needed 2 hour nap today after a wonderful day at the Tourism Kenora Matiowski Farmers’ Market. Although I was already beat after only getting 3 hours sleep last night, the fun and exciting atmosphere of the Market and the great vendors and customers, really gave me the energy and motivation to make it through the day!

This is why I love the Market! What an EPIC day! Thanks everyone for making it all worthwhile!

P.S. A shout out to Alexis Pernsky at Sweet, Lake of the Woods Chocolate Shop, for delivering a delicious lemonade to me today. It was so thoughtful and made my day! You have to try her made-on-the-spot lemonade at her tent at the Matiowski Farmers’s Market, it is so refreshing and yummy!

I’ve got fresh locally picked Blueberry Butter tarts today as well as all my usual drop cookies, Maple Pecan and Maple Raisin tarts, imperial cookies, and Rice Krispie treats! Also the blueberry scones today are made with freshly picked blueberries!
