With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I was happy to support the Kenora Dragon Tamers and their Sold Out Luncheon of Hope on the weekend, by donating pink ribbon cookies for their event.

It is important to stress regular screenings and promote early detection.

The next great event supporting this cause is the Karrie Kozak Memorial Bonspiel happening at the Keewatin Curling Club on Oct 23 & 24. If you’re a lucky participate, there will be cookies there as well!

I just wanted to THANK all my customers so much for supporting my table at the Matiowski Farmers’ Market all summer under the Jarnel Contracting Pavilion. It was a record epic summer and was so great seeing old customers and new customers come and enjoy all my baked goods.

I will be taking it a bit easy for the next couple of weeks to recuperate and work on custom orders, but will be planning for the Autumn, Christmas, and Winter Markets that will start in November.

Thank you again for your patronage, I appreciate it, more than you know.

I hope you made it down to the Matiowski Farmers’ Market for your free Customer Appreciation lunch yesterday and got one of the sugar cookies I made for the occasion.

Come down to the final Matiowski Farmers’ Market today and get your drop cookies, imperial cookies, tarts, and scones for the last time this summer.

I’ll also have Apple Crumb tarts as well as Pumpkin tarts today!

Autumn and Christmas Markets start in November, so we’ll see you there if you can’t make it Wednesday.

It feels like fall, so I’ve made some fall tarts for the Matiowski Farmers’ Market tomorrow.
I will have some Apple Crumble Tarts and some Pumpkin Tarts available, as well as the usual Maple Pecan and Maple Raisin Butter Tarts. I’ll also have the usual drop cookies, Raspberry Almond Shortbread, Ultimate, Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Ginger, Coconut Oatmeal Crisps, and some Peanut Butter Stuffed Chocolate cookies, as well as Imperial cookies and locally picked Blueberry scones, and Raspberry Almond and Cranberry scones.
Hope to see you at the 2nd last Market of the summer on Wednesday!

Made freshly picked local Blueberry Butter Tarts for the Matiowski Farmers’ Market tomorrow! The few that I have had at the Market have been very popular, so come by and get yours tomorrow before they’re gone!

As long as I can still get freshly picked blueberries, I will make these available as well as all the Blueberry Scones. They are pretty yummy! 😋
