Cake of the Woods Custom Cakes on beautiful Lake of the Woods I love "Caking". I invested so much time and with each new trick I learned I fell more in love with my side hobby.

I used to just play when my children or extended family had birthdays or on those special occasions when I had a moment. My plan was to one day travel to Winnipeg and take all the proper courses so that my playing would provide me a more satisfying end result. However, not too long ago I was fortunate to take courses right here in our gorgeous little City (thank you to Second Street Bakery for bri

nging in a Wilton trained expert). As time progressed and I made more and more cakes to "practice" my skills I soon found I was inundated with orders from family and friends and then friends of friends... wow apparently custom cakes are loved and appreciated in K-Town! So here I am, still working full-time, still a mother to 4 and juggling lots of cake orders!! I confess...I truly love it and I find it incredibly hard to say no when I book too many in one week.
