Happy June everyone!
With summer just around the corner, I wanted to share a bit of an update on the bakery!
There’s some big changes ahead & I want to explain a little bit about my absence lately. I care full time for my disabled father who has Parkinson’s, Dementia, Alzheimer’s and other health related issues. He lives in my home & I care for him 24/7/365. I make no money doing this. As well as caring for my own family and our needs! I get a PSW who helps for 15-60 minutes a day and nothing more. By changing the way I run my business, I’ll still be able to provide you all with delicious goodies while also caring for my father and helping support my family financially! My husband is currently working 3 jobs to support us!
Because of this, it limits what I can do with the bakery so I have thought about it and decided to implement a new way of ordering! We’re launching subscription boxes! This way you can still get your favourite bakery goodies, without the need to custom order each week!
You will have 3 options to choose from. Weekly, biweekly or monthly & 2 size options (small 1-3 or large 4-6 family members). Each week will be a new theme (it may be a flavour or a food type or a colour, season, etc). Your box MAY include: cookies, brownies, squares, bars, chocolates, cupcakes (mini or regular), mini loaves or other delicious treats!
While I will still do some custom work, I’ll definitely be limiting what I take on. I require 2 weeks notice MINIMUM for any custom work and 2 months minimum for large wedding orders (including wedding favours).
The subscription boxes will be limited quantities each week so make sure you order early if you don’t want to commit to a subscription box each week but still want the opportunity to order your goodies! Subscribers will get priority access to orders each week.
There will be 2 days per week for pickup & 1 morning for deliveries (delivery fee not included in pricing).
At the beginning of the month, I will launch all the flavours or themes for the coming month and then we will have set days to get your order payment in. Once orders close, they’re closed. I will then make all the items fresh for that weeks boxes!
While all boxes offered are gluten free & nut free, I will need advance notice if have other allergies to be aware of.
Currently I will not be doing any sugar free items, however some of my items we use honey or maple syrup in instead of sugar, but that’s limited as well.
