We’ve had such a busy week, that we forgot to post the flavours for Ragamuffins this week! We are though so very thankful for the orders that came in, the interest in the Traditional Black Cake and selling out all of our orders! Our Ponche Crème has been a hit and may become a staple in some homes during the holidays. Grateful would be an understatement, thank you all for your support and love! - G

For those of you that are asking, Ponche Crème (also known as punch ah crème) is our Caribbean eggnog. It is not the eggnog you know and grew up on, ours has booze it in, specifically rum adding to the many layers of this drink. It’s a smooth and creamy, milk-based alcoholic drink with a presence of citrus, and nutty and warm spices, best shared with your family, friends and neighbours.
It’s a drink that is also packed with history and tradition, with each home making theirs a little different from the next based on what was available at the time. My grandmother has been making it for years, she was known for making one that you’d now say was ‘bess’.

I must admit, this is my most favourite time of the year, from food to smells, to friends and family, Christmas is what you create it to be.
Today, we had some fun creating and setting the mood at home to get us ready for the season. We’ve been sipping on Ponche Crème this few past weeks, and it’s become a tradition this year to wind down and cozy up in the evenings🎄❄️
