Calling All Local Artists! Let's Turn Jarvis Street into a Winter Wonderland!

The Bridgeburg Historic District BIA has a little holiday magic in mind, and we need some creative people to help bring it to life!

We're looking for talented artists who specialize in painting storefront windows (or aspiring to) and would love to collaborate with us to transform our little downtown into a festive winter wonderland this holiday season!

With so many beautiful shop windows along Jarvis Street, just imagine the possibilities! Snowy scenes, whimsical characters, festive designs and a whole street filled with holiday cheer!

We'd love to connect with artists who have ideas, creativity and a passion for bringing our community together.

All your love, prayers and positive thoughts worked! Kobe is home!

His surgeries went fantastic! He was pretty sore and disoriented when we picked him up, but we could immediately hear the difference in his breathing. And look at those new nostrils! I've included a before and two after photos.

He's still sore and on antibiotics and painkillers, but he's taking it like the big boy he is!

The hardest part? Keeping the brothers apart! I thought Kyma was going to launch himself into the atmosphere when Kobe came home!

We also took advantage of the anesthesia to have Kobe neutered and microchipped. On our vet's advice, Kyma is booked for his neuter Thursday. Earlier than planned, but hopefully it'll keep the boys out of trouble!

Thank you all so much. I waited until the end of the day to read your comments, and they got me through that last anxious hour before pickup.

The mission? Feeding the crew!

Day one of our adventure with is officially complete! Our part anyway lol.

Prep and pickup went off without a hitch! We sent enough hot coffee to keep everyone caffeinated throughout the day, an assortment of breakfast sandwiches to keep them fueled, and a selection of our freeze-dried treats for snacking on set.

We're so excited to be sponsoring this new Bell Fibe TV1 production being filmed right here in Fort Erie. It's pretty special to see something like this happening in our little community and to have The Manic Maker be a part of it.

And here's a little secret about why this opportunity means so much to me personally. My niece has been writing, producing and staring in Fringe productions for a long long time. So many shows over the years! I love that this show started at Fringe. It's a big deal

We are SO excited to welcome the Bills Backers Fort Erie back for their 2nd Annual Christmas Craft Sale at The Manic Maker!

Last year was fantastic and if you know this group, you know they bring the energy to EVERYTHING they do! ❤️💙

What I love most about the Bills Backers Fort Erie is how much they give back. They support local charities, show up for community events and are always finding ways to help. I can’t wait to see what they have planned for this year’s Fort Erie Santa Claus Parade... their float is always amazing!

Football may not be one of my many interests 😂, but I have all the respect in the world for a group that supports its community the way these folks do.
