Guys, I'm really trying to stay positive, but our reach just isn't happening. I totally get it if you don't have any funds to give today, but please help with engagement. If these posts don't get seen, we cannot reach our goal. It's imperative we reach our target this week. Weekends are traditionally slow, and we haven't even hit our first thousand dollars yet. I am extremely worried, and the amount of stress right now is weighing me down significantly. Please, help us turn this around, and get our posts seen, whichever one makes you smile, so that we can hit this target, and keep Inugoya open and functioning.

In a world where kennel walls are meant to keep dogs in...

He refused to accept the rules.

She desperately waited for her happily ever after.

She watched dogs come and go every day.

On Wednesday, a new dog moved in next door.

Peter.

Merry was intrigued.

They came from different worlds.

Merry arrived as a stray from a nice neighborhood.

Peter was found wandering the city streets.

Different backgrounds. Different stories.
But they were fated to meet.

When Peter arrived, he settled in quickly. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Until yesterday, when staff walked by and noticed something unusual.

There were two dogs in one kennel.

Somehow Peter found his way into Merry's kennel.

We weren't really sure what happened. Maybe someone accidentally put him in the wrong kennel after a walk. We figured there had to be an explanation.

Surely he didn't jump a six-foot kennel wall.

Until it happened again.

And then everything became very clear.

This boy launched himself over his kennel wall to get back to Merry.

And Merry?

No complaints. In fact... best day ever vibes.

These two played together in the kennel, stood side by side at the gate watching volunteers walk by, and wagged their tails together like they'd already decided this was THEIR love story.

Before Peter started planning another reunion, we moved him to a covered kennel to keep him safely in his own space. As cute as this is, we can't safely leave two large dogs together unattended in such a small space.

But we also can't ignore what we're seeing.

We know asking someone to adopt two large dogs is a big ask.

But Peter jumped a six-foot wall.

Twice.

For Merry.
