I made this fun cake for my team's 20th Anniversary Paddle! August 16 2006 they launched, and we had a commemorative paddle on the same day, with Alumni and teammates to the Royston Shipwrecks!

A white cake with strawberry preserves, and a white, milk and dark chocolate dragonboat I made, (Dragonhead was made with royal icing) and paddles are a cool find from a market! If you seen any more, give me a shout, I think I might make more of these😅

Although the boat had to be taken out of the sun due to the immense heat, (benches were melting) the boat survived and will be on display at Comox Dragonboat Festival at my team's table, VIP Comox Valley Flying Dragons

A GF/DF Coconut sugar based carrot cake with cream cheese and dairy free cream cheese icing (spot the divide) with some homegrown wildflowers for the simplistic beauty of it. (My fave aspect is the swirly twirly bits I grow in my bakery garden boxes!)

Just arrived in Bellingham! In the states for a few days while we head to QC to take care of my hubby's mom's estate! Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible, from watching the home and pets, to understanding that I will be AWAY until the 12th to bring her items home and take care of everything that makes "going home" so hard.
