Welcome to Fearless Community Hub, an organization dedicated to empowering NDIS participants and their parents through transformative experiences. We are reaching out to introduce ourselves and our exciting venture.
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Jack Latham, and I proudly serve as the Director of Fearless Community Hub, with my amazing partner W***y. With a degree in psychology and a background in psychosocial recovery coaching/support coordination, my mission is deeply rooted in compassion, professionalism and a genuine commitment to supporting others on their journey towards empowerment and well-being.
At Fearless Community Hub, we are passionate about creating inclusive spaces where individuals with disabilities and their families can thrive. We are thrilled to announce our latest initiative - Fearless Retreats, designed specifically for NDIS participants and their parents.
Our inaugural retreat, nestled in the tranquil embrace of the rainforest, promises a rejuvenating experience with a focus on capacity building. We believe in offering holistic support, and thus, our retreat features an array of enriching activities tailored to both kids and parents. From guided walks amidst lush greenery to adrenaline-pumping adventures like the flying fox, glow worm tours, sky gazing, and wildlife spotting, there's something for everyone.
But our offerings extend beyond mere recreation. We understand the importance of legitimate confidence and holistic well-being, which is why we are proud to provide self-defence (Brazilian jiu jitsu) classes and breathing/deregulation sessions to empower participants with essential life skills and coping mechanisms.
For parents, we have curated workshops led by allied health specialists, covering topics vital to their journey. Additionally, we offer relaxation services for massage sessions, ensuring they receive the care and rejuvenation they deserve.
Moreover, our retreat venue boasts a dedicated sensory room, catering to the unique needs of individuals with sensory sensitivities. And to top it all off, our event is fully catered, ensuring that every aspect of the experience is seamless and enjoyable.
