We are looking for a baker and/or pastry chef.

We are a neighbourhood bakery with the sole purpose of making outstanding baked goods for our loyal retail and wholesale customers.
We have three locations; our main production space is literally across the road from the beach.

The successful candidate will:

- be looking for a coastal change if not living already in the Coffs Coast...this is a beautiful part of Australia with heaps of access to nature and a nice quality of life

- have experience handling production of natural leavened baked goods…i.e. understands fermentation and is able to make suggestions or learn how to adjust for different conditions

- be a team player

- value working at a nurturing, creative workspace

- value work-life balance

UPDATE!

In order to preserve our sanity, spend more time with our little ones and give our team proper rest our Park Beach shop we will now close on Mondays.

This wasn't a decision that we've made lightly, but we are convinced it's the right thing to do as we want to improve and protect work-life balance for the whole P&W fam, quality of our products and our creative juices.

This bakery is a humble project that was born 3 years ago. Coffs Harbour wasn't a random pin on the map, we chose it because it's big enough, yet it's has all the beauty of coastal NSW's Mid North Coast. The thing is...as the bakery grew, it became a 24x7 operations and the number of free hours in a day that we had as a family decreased dramatically...like literally to be almost none.

Now, we've been blessed with an amazing team but they also had families and things going on in their lives. After this busy silly season we were all already pretty tired, but some unforeseen circumstances have left us being temporarily short staff...like really really short. We tried to do our best to cover for a couple of weeks, but we have realised that doing a bit less hours is what we need in order not to break our minds and bodies.

We apologise for the short notice and we hope you understand. We thank you infinitely for your support. We don't take it for granted. We promise you this is for the best🙏🙏🙏

Lately at the humble family bakery...

2025...what a crazy year!

We expanded the family...like literally we had a baby but we also grew the team and bought a coffee van.

We also managed to flood the bakery twice. And let's not forget about that week I spent in hospital with a nasty infection while the team held the fort so brilliantly that no one even noticed I was gone 😝

And there's probably so much more I am leaving out because when you are a baker weeks kind of like mesh into one. But we make baked goods for a living because we ABSOLUTELYLOVE IT! And that's what we are set to do in 2026, only that bigger and better. Let's go team🙌🙌🙌

Xmas Eve -

Park Beach & Woopi open from 7 till sold out. Walk-ins welcome! If you pre-order please check your bag before leaving. We want for you to have THE BEST BAKED GOODS but we are human and a tad dislexic sometimes, so please check 🙏😛

Xmas Day -

Park Beach open early till sold out. We will have HEEEEEEAPS of bread, croissants and cinnies.

And a general note... We are working non stop to make sure we put the BEST on the counter. We are sacrificing time with our loved ones because we believe this is our duty towards our community. Please, be merry and kind 🙏
