Victoria just picked its finalists. Two of them are right here on the Bellarine!

Ocean Grove and Portarlington are in the running in the 2026 Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards.

For years, Victorians have been making memories in Ocean Grove and Portarlington. Beach holidays, family weekends, ferry trips, long lunches and days spent by the water are all part of the story.

🏖️ Ocean Grove is a finalist in the Top Tourism Town category.

⛴️ Portarlington is a finalist in the Small Tourism Town category.

That means you can vote for both.

Will you join us for Ocean Hour?⁠

Once a week. Your local beach. One hour in, on, or beside the sea. ⁠
A swim, a surf, a coastal walk, a story. Whatever feels right for where you are. No membership. Just people and the ocean.⁠

Something’s been building quietly inside Ocean Culture for a while now. Ocean Hour started in Plemont Bay in Jersey (UK) in May this year by 🌊

The idea is simple: there’s a parkrun for every park. There’s no equivalent for the coast. That gap is ours to fill – we want Ocean Hour happening on every coastline. Community-led, story-fed, and free to join.⁠

We are starting on the June public holiday and will then trial Friday mornings at 7am for a few weeks after that!

All welcome, free event, walk, run, swim, surf, ride, photography, coffee, gather 🫶
