Hello again fam, you can’t begin to imagine how much we’ve missed y’all.

Lockdown has been tough on us, our demanding day jobs have taken us away from the ability to serve y’all some delish goods and coming into summer we are popping up at with this weekend and we are finally able to debut our new Smol Frys!

💣 TIS THE SEASON 💣

As y’all know, we like our doughies and our flavours top teir and this weeks special is a testament to it!

This week, we are releasing our first limited special:

THE TRUFFLED CARAMEL 🧡

It’s our house dough, infused with truffled salt and sugar and topped with a decadent veil of truffled vanilla caramel. She’s earthy, sweet and oh so moreish and a lot of testing has gone into this to give it a beautiful balance to the palate.

🍫 WORLD CHOCOLATE DAY 🍫

For me, chocolate pairs best with salt or other complimentary flavours as well as an accompaniment to beautiful texture.

Our Oreo s’more doughie is a testament to that with salted chocolate glaze complimenting our sweet and savoury dough, a smooth and velvety marshmallow cream filling and delicate crunch of the cocoa-rich Oreo biscuit crumb.

🍓 UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL 🍓

Food generates a nostalgia that can magically transport you back to a place in time as a kid, a teen, an event or even a special person in your life.

For me and my family growing up, a staple treat was the humble bakery jam and cream donut. Kiwis will know there is nothing like the small family-owned bakeries on a road trip to satisfy your sweet cravings.

And with the odd homesickness kicking in and my want to share this incredible treat to my Aussie pals, the KIWI BIRD donut was born.

She’s simple, luxe and oh so delish, an homage to a treat that for me, sparked an interest in donuts from a young age. 🤍

We’re ready to go for your delivery doughies this weekend, with two new exciting flavours released! This weeks delivery is on Saturday 19th June to cater to the Saturday crew! 🙏🏼

We have our 4 core flavours that you all know and love, and the two new flavours this week are:

KIWI STYLE JAM AND CREAM:
You Kiwis will know what we’re talking about! A lightly dusted cinnamon sugar donut, with a fresh cream and strawberry jam filling. 🍓

VANILLA CUSTARD:
Inspired and requested by the lovely , a homemade French vanilla custard filled donut with a light custard glaze. A little spin on the classic! 💛

Over the past year, it’s come to light how Melbourne is full of amazing essential workers, parents who have become teachers, tenacious hospo workers and those that have taken the time to help others.

💔 BACK IN LOCKDOWN FAM 💔

Unfortunately due to the lockdown announced this morning, we will not be popping up alongside at this Sunday and will postpone the launch of our new product until everyone is able to move more freely and safely.

Thank you for all the support and hype around us and our food and we can’t wait to be back to serve you all some goodies.

We encourage you to get out and about and support your local hospo businesses as much as you can and please stay safe. We will see you again in no time!
