🎉🧁 We’re so excited to be part of Glen Huntly Primary School’s Spring Fair this Saturday! 🌸

Join us on Saturday, 17 October, from 1–6 pm for an afternoon filled with fun, food and community spirit!

🍰 BuildACake Bakery will be hosting Cupcake Decorating Workshops throughout the afternoon! Children of all ages and abilities can roll up their sleeves, get creative and decorate their very own cupcakes to take home… although we suspect quite a few little masterpieces might be eaten before they even make it home! 😂🧁

Glen Huntly Primary School is a wonderful part of our local community and an organisation we’re always happy to support whenever we can. ❤️ We’d love to encourage everyone to pop down, grab some lunch, enjoy the activities and help support the school’s fundraising efforts.

And, of course, if you’re there, come and say hello at the BuildACake stall! We’d love to see some familiar faces, meet new friends and share our secrets to creating beautiful cupcakes with you! 🧁✨

We all know the saying, “a look can say a thousand words”… and this one says it all. ❤️

Just look at the love, admiration and tenderness between these two. 🥰 After 25 years of marriage, and almost as many years as business partners, Jenny and Adam are proof that when love, friendship and partnership come together, something truly beautiful is created.

Just looking across the kitchen after a great Pie Making Workshop.

A little throwback to 2021 alongside this recent photo — and it’s funny how 5 years can feel like they’ve disappeared in the blink of an eye, while at the same time, when you stop and look around, you realise just how far you’ve come.

Plenty of twists, turns, lessons, laughs and good times along the way. All filled with thousands of custom cakes, countless plates of savoury hot food and long hours — but also so much appreciation for what we do and the joy we bring to every celebration.

Still fuelled by passion, creativity and, of course, an unreasonable amount of coffee! ☕️😁

Not quite sure where the years went, but when you look back at everything we’ve created, the people we’ve celebrated with and the memories we’ve been part of, it’s been one hell of a ride so far. Time really does fly when you’re having fun. ❤️

🎉 DAY ONE of our 5th Birthday celebrations… WHAT. A. DAY!!! 🎂❤️

So much fun, laughter, happy faces… and CAKE! 🥳

A huge thank you to all the family members, friends, regular customers and wonderful locals who stopped by today to celebrate this amazing milestone with us. It meant so much to have you there! ❤️

And that beautiful red velvet cake? GONE. 😍🍰

So naturally… we baked another one — a delicious lemon sponge! 😉🍋🎂

A massive shoutout to our incredible crew, too, who powered through the organised chaos of this big celebration while still making sure all those beautiful custom cakes are ready for our customers. You legends! 🙌

We had the loveliest time tonight at our Pie Making Workshop, with mum and daughters rolling up their sleeves, sharing plenty of laughs and mastering the skills of making delicious pies at home.🥧❤️

It’s all about quality time together— putting the phones down, learning something new, having a giggle and creating memories along the way.

And now comes the BIG question…
