Shannon + Lash 🤍⚡️

Beautiful chaos. The absolute best kind.

From a laneway first look in Fish Lane, to drums echoing through The Warehouse, cocktails flying, coloured smoke, packed dance floors and about a hundred little moments happening all at once… this wedding had ENERGY.

Nothing felt too polished. Nothing felt forced.

Just two people completely in it, surrounded by their favourite humans, letting the day unfold exactly how it wanted to.

And judging by the comments afterwards — “OBSESSED”, “incredible”, “stunning” — I’m definitely not the only one who felt it 😂🔥

There’s something pretty magic about a wedding that doesn’t try to behave.

A little loud.
A little wild.
Full of culture.
Full of movement.
Full of heart.

Jaz & Zac ✨

It’s always the little in-between moments that end up telling so much of the story.

A hand squeeze before the ceremony. Guests settling into their seats. That quick look across the aisle. Ch*****ne being poured. Hugs that last a little longer. The tiny details that have been planned for months, finally all coming together.

And then cocktail hour on those famous Maleny Country Estate lawns 🤍

Golden afternoon light, drinks flowing, everyone catching up, wandering the gardens and soaking in that just-married feeling before the night really kicked off.

There’s something pretty special about this part of a wedding day. Nothing forced, nothing rushed, just all your favourite people together, celebrating you.

A beautiful winter wedding at Rosewood Estate, filled with crisp sunshine, timeless black-tie styling and the most gorgeous white florals. Set high in the Gold Coast hinterland with sweeping views across the mountains and all the way to the coast, Rosewood provided an incredible backdrop from beginning to end.

From a relaxed morning getting ready onsite to their heartfelt ceremony on the lawn, the entire day felt elegant, joyful and effortlessly refined. Classic black and white details, cascading orchids, warm winter light and a bridal party who brought plenty of fun made every part of the day so beautiful to capture.

Rosewood Estate really is one of the most amazing wedding venues. The views are spectacular, the grounds are immaculate, and as the afternoon light moves across the property, there is something beautiful in every direction.

A few black-and-white stills + film frames from Sharmani & Bailey’s Wynmère Estate wedding.

There was something about this day that felt made for film — the quiet anticipation, the beautiful restraint in every detail, the emotion of the ceremony and the way the celebration gathered momentum as the night went on.

Wynmère has this incredible ability to feel both grand and intimate at the same time. The gardens, the stone, the soft light and the energy of everyone in one place made every frame feel timeless.

Black and white has a way of stripping everything back to what mattered most: the people, the feeling and the moments that moved too quickly to fully take in at the time.

The little details always tell a bigger story ✨

Long before the ceremony begins and long after the dance floor fills, there are hundreds of thoughtful choices that quietly shape how a wedding feels.

Tenielle & Lachlan’s day was filled with them.

Soft autumn florals layered with texture and movement. Beautiful stationery. Delicate jewellery passed down through family. A couture gown that felt timeless from every angle. Elegant styling that complemented the natural beauty of Braeside Estate without ever competing with it.

Every detail felt intentional. Nothing overdone. Nothing chasing trends. Just a collection of carefully chosen pieces that reflected who they are and the atmosphere they wanted their guests to experience.

These are some of my favourite moments to photograph. The flat lays. The finishing touches. The details that often take months of planning but only exist for a single day.

Because years from now, these photographs become part of the story too.

A few more moments from this beautiful Maleny Country Estate celebration.

What I loved most about this day was how naturally everything unfolded. No rushing, no pressure, just two people completely present with each other and surrounded by their favourite people. The laughter was constant, the emotions were genuine, and every part of the day felt beautifully authentic.

From quiet moments together amongst the gardens to a dance floor that stayed packed all night, Jaz & Zac created a wedding that was equal parts elegant, relaxed and incredibly fun. The kind of day that reminds you what weddings are really about, connection, celebration and making memories with the people who matter most.

There’s a reason so many couples fall in love with Braeside Estate before they even walk down the aisle.

Nestled amongst towering trees, rolling lawns and beautifully manicured gardens, the ceremony location at Braeside feels like something straight out of a European estate. Private, romantic and completely surrounded by nature, it creates the kind of atmosphere where everything else simply fades away.

For Tenielle & Lachlan, it was the perfect place to begin their next chapter.

As guests gathered beneath the autumn sunshine, the estate felt calm and full of anticipation. Emotional vows, happy tears, and the kind of genuine connection that reminds everyone exactly what weddings are really about.

From there, the day unfolded effortlessly. Golden light filtering through the gardens, elegant styling details around every corner, and one of those celebrations where nobody wanted the night to end.

Braeside Estate has always been one of my favourite Gold Coast wedding venues, and days like this are exactly why.

Timeless surroundings. Incredible light. Beautiful people. And a whole lot of love.

Some wedding days have a rhythm of their own.

Shannon & Lash’s celebration started in the heart of Fish Lane and never slowed down. A laneway first look, colourful city backdrops, Sri Lankan traditions woven throughout the day, and a dance floor that felt alive from the moment the music started.

There was so much intention behind every part of this wedding, but nothing felt staged. Just genuine connection, big energy, and a couple completely present with the people they love most.

The Warehouse Brisbane was the perfect backdrop for it all. Industrial textures, vibrant styling, incredible light, and moments unfolding naturally at every turn. Add cultural drummers, coloured smoke, cocktails, and one seriously good party, and you have the recipe for a wedding nobody wanted to leave.

A reminder that the best weddings aren’t about following a formula.

They’re about creating a day that feels unmistakably like you.

The kind of wedding day that felt fun, effortless and full of love from the very beginning. Set amongst the rolling hills and stunning gardens of Maleny Country Estate, every part of the day carried such a relaxed energy while still feeling incredibly elegant and intentional.

There were so many laughs, happy tears, cocktails flowing and the best kind of chaos that comes when all your favourite people are together celebrating. From heartfelt vows in the sunshine to an absolute party by the evening, this day was such a perfect reflection of Jaz & Zac and the people surrounding them 🤍
