We have the perfect “just a sliver” desserts for you to pick up for your group gatherings.
While everyone always wants jumbo sized everything, today only we have some cake slice and krispy slivers. They along with cake pops and our jumbo brownies cut into quarters make a perfect dessert tray!

Just because it sounded good in my head and the reality is even more delicious!
Look for our corn roast entry on WGN today when Downtown Wheaton Association heads down to their studio to promote the first ever, CORN ROAST!
We are open 11-5 today and 10-5 on Saturday (Corn Roast event is 1-5 on Saturday!)
And reminder that we are CLOSED on Sundays now, so if you need treats for your long weekends (I finally get a long weekend when other people have long weekends!), swing by Friday and Saturday!
If you want a box of mini sized treats, please call so we can make it happen!
And sourdough pre orders close on Tuesday at the latest, but may close as soon as tomorrow as we near capacity!

Lemon blueberry cake slices in store tomorrow no vegan peep stepped up for the full cake (I’m not vegan, and just forewarning for holidays, all full sized pies and cakes going forward will all require pre orders)
Pre orders for bagels for next week are open, fresh for pick ups on Thursday and Friday or we can fresh freeze for Saturday pick ups!

Why all the pre orders? Since I know some people want to know, happy to answer this
Since we are a very small kitchen and much fewer staff than many other bakeries, gf or otherwise, we have to plan ahead for things that take a lot of hours to make. I don’t want things that are so amazing to hit the freezer and I’ve already changed pant sizes a few times from eating the delicious extras!

Our final Sunday open for awhile and we have a few grab and go “meat and 3s” available as a nod to Dolly, as well as her favorite dessert banana pudding. We are open until 3pm today and then new fall hours will be begin September 1st.
Also starting in September will be September suppers (pre orders will be taken and pick ups will be Friday and Saturdays)
Depending on how well they go, we will continue those into the rest of fall before focusing on holidays late in November and all of December.
For those planners out there, we will be doing special holiday week hours to try to accommodate as many of you as possible, and we will be offering some delivery options on days we are physically closed in store.
