A long overdue introduction of the loaf that started it all - Sourdough Sandwich Bread! 🍞
Before RocknRo Sourdough was a business, this sandwich bread was just something I made for my family—with the best ingredients I could find and a whole lot of love.
I remember being so nervous to sell a premium product when I knew I’d be up against cheap, ultra-processed brands being sold at much lower prices. But I also knew what went into mine: just 6 simple, organic ingredients—flour, water, coconut oil, honey, milk, and salt—and the intention to nourish, not just fill.
It’s made with a creamy Tangzhong method, where a portion of the flour and liquid is gently cooked into a smooth paste before being mixed into the dough. This gives the bread a soft, tender crumb, better moisture retention, and keeps it fresh longer—without additives or preservatives.
This is still my favorite thing to make, and it’s still the heartbeat of my micro bakery. Thank you for choosing the real stuff. ❤️
