Good morning! Counter sales at Sweet Roots will open a little later today. It’s just me in the kitchen, and I’ve got a few custom orders heading out this morning. I’ll post as soon as the counter is ready!

Also… I drove to Pocatello and back yesterday to swap vehicles with my daughter, and apparently nobody thought to tell me it was National Cinnamon Roll Day???

My gasts are completely flabbered.

I feel like owning a bakery should’ve gotten me a personal notification. A phone call. A cinnamon roll shaped bat signal. SOMETHING.

I think we need a redo. Who’s in?

Weiser, come get your cinnamon rolls and send me home. 😂

We sold out THREE TIMES at the Mud Drags, but somehow the 14 cinnamon rolls back at Sweet Roots Bakery missed the memo.

A last minute donut order meant another fresh batch, so we’ve also got about two dozen donuts on the counter, plus coffee cake and chocolate chip cookies!

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to grab a treat, this is it. Get down here and help us finish strong. I love y’all, but I’d also love to go home. 😂

We hit 4,000 Facebook followers last night! I got the screenshot, and then my phone died. Apparently it was exhausted too. 😂

ONE THOUSAND new followers in less than a month. We’re also almost to 10,000 on TikTok and 400 on Instagram!

My marketing budget consists of whatever little bit of energy I have left, so please know how incredibly grateful I am. A little over a year into business, I never imagined 4,000 people would be following our little bakery.

Weiser, I see how hard you’re showing up for us. You’re buying treats, telling your friends, sharing our posts, and helping people find us. Every bit of that helps us keep the doors open.

These first years are scary, especially in this economy. Reaching more people means more chances to turn this dream into something that can support our family for years to come.

We’re one step closer to a future where I can pay myself, my girls can get braces, and Jimmy can do all my side quests for a living. 🤭

We’re almost at 4,000 followers. If we get there, I might finally convince Jimmy to dance in a video with me. 😂 Wouldn’t THAT be a show?

We are so, so busy, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

The Harvest Bazaar starts today and continues tomorrow on State Street downtown. Tomorrow also brings the Weiser Mud Drags at Mortimer’s Island, followed by the demolition derby. It’s a big weekend for our little town!

These two found our Sweet Roots rock at Mortimer’s Island and won a pumpkin cheesecake. This Saturday, October 3, it’s your turn to head out there for the Weiser Mud Drags!
