What happens when you accidentally dump raisins in the wrong batch?

You roll with it and create a new flavor!

Introducing: Oatmeal Cookie Sourdough.

This is our Honey Oat, but with raisins. Not as sweet as a cookie, but with honey AND raisins, definitely a bit sweeter than our typical loaf.

So those of you that get a loaf, let me know what you think! Should it stay or was it a one time “oops”?

I kept a loaf and I think it made really nice toast.

Rainy day comfort food.

*I’m not the best photographer 🙂 And excuse my half eaten dinner, but I just had to share!

Homemade Alfredo sauce, and I used a blend of parm, Romano, and Asiago instead of the traditional parm.

So. Good.

And paired it with Herbed Asiago sourdough, of course!

This kid takes “handmade” very seriously:)

Bring in the kitchen with my grandkids never gets old. Connecting over bowls of cookie dough and making homemade pasta for dinner yesterday. We talk, we laugh, we throw a little flour around.

Pure magic that will stick with us for all of our days. 💕

Glory’s maiden voyage here was a success!

I slathered this fresh-from-the-oven slice with butter and some stellar peach preserves from The Farm in the Woods

Who needs a loaf? They need to cool a bit, and will be ready for pickup early afternoon.

It’s a test batch, so while it’s great bread, test loaves are always $5.

Hello? Hello?

I sure hope you can hear me. I know it’s been a minute!

We have been diligently keeping the bakery going while running the farm AND having a litter of puppies.

It’s been a wild winter ride!

BUT I wanted to jump on here and say that we are still rolling out great breads every week:)

AND show you our latest upgrade! Meet Glory, my new, super big mixer. This has been a long time coming, but I waited for exactly what I wanted. She’s an amazing piece of machinery that will serve me well for the rest of my days:)

We will also be overhauling our website and ordering system in the next month, before market season and summer volume really kicks in. There is currently no online ordering, but you can always reach out directly.

This is Glory during her maiden voyage. I’ll have a few country white loaves available tomorrow for $5 each as this is a test batch.
