Hey there, Sweeties!

Sorry to have been out of touch for the last few weeks. After the loss of my grandmother, our family had what would best be described as a series of unfortunate events, which required most of my time and energy.

But so many of you have checked in and asked, so here's an update:

We're taking a little BREAK as we prepare for a new chapter—including a NEW location! During this time, we'll be closed for daily business, but STILL doing cake orders!

I'm so sorry for any inconveniences. I SO appreciate your patience while we get ready for upcoming changes, and for your kindness during the loss of my Grandma. Thank you, truly!!!

REMEMBER, regardless of what you hear, the shop IS NOT closing. (We all know the rumor mill in small towns.) We WILL BE back!

It is with the greatest sorrow I must announce the passing of my darling Grandmother, Beth Chaffin.

Many of you are aware she fell and was hospitalized, requiring surgery. While she initially seemed to be recovering well, she started a decline from which whe never recovered. The stress from this, coupled with pre-existing health conditions and recent health issues meant her body just couldn't handle it.

She passed away peacefully with my Grandfather at her bedside early Friday morning. I am truly sorry for the delayed announcement, so much needed done and it was one more thing my heart wasn't ready for.

The Sweet Tooth will be closed for at least another week while I handle arrangements for my Grandpa, and spend time with family as our hearts are hurting. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank each of you for your kind words and understanding.

Dear Sweet Tooth Family,

Please be aware that the shop will be closed until further notice.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce my dear Granny, the reason I stayed and begun my Sweet Tooth journey, is in her final days. I am staying by her side and caring for her as she makes her transition.

Caring for her has been my greatest privilege, and facing her loss has been the most challenging thing I’ve ever faced. As much as I love my shop, my heart is with my family and my energy is devoted to being with Gram during this time.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause- and I deeply appreciate your understanding, patience, and support. Thank you all for being part of this journey with me.

Due to unforeseen family matters we'll be closed today, Friday the 19th.

Family has always been at the core of my values, and right now, my focus is on my grandparents- who are ultimately the reason I stayed in Warsaw and bought my shop. My dear, sweet Grandma is in the hospital, and my priority is being with her.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. My plan is to resume business as usual tomorrow, but that's still to be determined. Thank you all so much for your continued support and understanding. 🙏

For $16- our 1/2 dozen fresh, dipped Berries will come decorated to look like cute carrots or sweet speckled eggs. They're gift wrapped in cute little egg cartons, perfect for tucking right into those Easter baskets.

⚠️😷⚠️ Just a heads up: we've got to take a little break today, Thursday, March 14th.

That nasty flu has found its way to our family. We don't want to be passing around germs with your goodies, so we think it best to stay home and recover.

We'll be back with your favorite fudge and chocolate dipped treats before you know it! Thanks for understanding, and stay tuned for updates on when we're back to spreading sweetness (not germs) again!
