Hi everyone! I wanted to make this little announcement before the Warsaw Mo Farmer's Market began tomorrow.

Sun and Moon Bakery will not be a full time vendor this year. Since last season, life has only gotten busier for the humans (we got married in November) and doing all the baking thru the week keeps the cats and I busy. I'll still accept a few orders for cookies and breads when the schedule allows though. 😋

Just wanted to let everyone know that we will not be at the Warsaw Mo Farmer's Market tomorrow. Stefan and I will be spending time with our family and giving the cats a break from baking. We will see you all September 6th for the last week of the market! ☀️🌙

This week I wanted to talk about our cookies. Each week we have four different kinds to choose from. Our best seller for the season has been the Cosmos, a decadent mix of chocolate chip, peanut butter, and butterscotch. These bad boys have contributed to me gaining the nickname of Cookie Monster. 😋

Once again we are open for business at the Warsaw Mo Farmer's Market! 😁

I don't think I've ever fully explained the story behind our name. I've had a few people ask me about it, so I figured I'd tell it here.

When I first started baking cookies just for fun, Luna and Bishop were in the kitchen with me from the get go. They stayed by my side the whole time and only left if I left the room too. So from Day 1 they were helping me and offering moral support.

Whenever I decided to sell my cookies and breads, I knew immediately I wanted to name it in honor of my two helpers. After a bit of brainstorming, Stefan and I came up with Sun and Moon Bakery. Bishop is the sun because he's my little ray of sunshine and Luna is the moon because, well, luna means moon. 😋

So that's the story behind our name. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey. ☀️🌙
