Happy International Women’s Day.
From culinary school (2012 🙃) to 2026, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some incredibly strong, talented women in this industry, in a space that has long been male dominated. Over the years, I’ve taken little pieces of each of them with me.
They showed me what real hard work looks like. They showed me how to hold my ground, how to push through long nights, and how to keep showing up even when things are hard.
They taught me to be unapologetically myself, to be loud, to take up space, and to never take s**t from anyone.
Every shift, every lesson, every late night conversation, every moment of honesty helped shape who I am today.
I hope I can pass even a fraction of that strength on to the women coming after me, to remind them they deserve respect, they deserve space, and they should never let anyone push them around.
So grateful for the women who came before me, the ones who stood beside me, and the ones who are still coming up. There are so many not pictured, but know I carry you with me every where.
