Coach Gehringer calming my granddaughter at a key moment.

Last month, I posted a photo of my granddaughter rounding 2nd base on her way to 3rd. This moment is even better. Alessandra was approaching the batters box when coach called a time out. My daughter in law paraphrased ( the coach’s words ) conversation underneath the photo.

It was the top of the seventh one out, two runners on base with the score tied. Base hit wins the game. And that’s exactly what she did with a single to right field. Credit to coach Gehringer for using the right words at the right time.
