On September 19, one of the biggest markets that we choose to do is the Haralson County's Fried Pie Festival. We ran out of pies an hour and a half after the market opened last year, so we are doing things a bit different…

FRIED PIES ONLY.

That’s it. ONLY fried pies. No cookies. No brownies. No distractions. Just tiny, golden, crispy little pockets of deliciousness.

But here’s the thing…

WE DON’T DO NORMAL. 😂

So don’t expect the usual apple, peach and cherry pies from us. We’re taking all the wild, ridiculous, dessert-y flavors you love and turning them into MINI FRIED PIES.

Think Cookie Monster. Cannoli. Coconut Cream. And flavors that make you stop mid-bite and say, “WHY IS THIS SO GOOD?!”

And YOU get to help decide what makes the menu! 👀

I am SO excited about the events I have coming up over this next month! 🎉🍪

August is on the way out and September is looking BUSY, and I am here for it. We will be popping up all over the place with cookies, treats and plenty of reasons to come out.

Seriously, while I am absolutely a 'time please slow down' girl, I am SO ready for this upcoming month. New events, cooler weather (maybe as this could be wishful thinking), familiar faces, new faces, lots of cookies, and probably at least one questionable decision involving how long I can actually stand on my feet without sitting down.

One thing I’ve learned as The Cookie Hustler has grown: **some of my BEST resources aren’t recipes, equipment or fancy business tricks. They’re PEOPLE.** 🧡

Other bakers. Local businesses. Vendors. Customers. This ridiculously supportive community I’m lucky enough to be part of.

I’ve never understood the whole “keep your secrets, guard your territory, and make sure nobody else gets ahead” mentality. That sounds exhausting, and frankly, I have cookies to bake and a future to plan.

I ask questions. I share ideas. I send people business. I cheer for other bakers. I celebrate their wins. Guess what? Most of them would do the same for me.

Someone else selling cookies doesn’t threaten my cookies.

Someone else having a great market doesn’t take away from mine.

Someone else succeeding doesn’t make my success any smaller.

You have a line? Congratulations. I'm sending more people over.

There is ROOM. For more bakers. More small businesses. More big ideas. More success stories. More people sitting around the table with their little businesses, figuring it out as they go, all taking different paths.

I’d so much rather build a community of people who root for each other than spend my energy looking over my shoulder wondering who I need to outrun. I'm super over any of that energy.

🚨 MARKET UPDATE 🚨

The heat has officially won. 🥵☀️ The Cookie Hustler is tapping out of the market today because apparently I was not built to be slow-roasted in a tent.

BUT… I’ve still got cookies! 🍪

I'll post ALL the things with quantities shortly. If there’s something you’ve been eyeing, message me and I’ll set it aside for you. Then we can meet up tomorrow or later at whatever time works best for you downtown VR.

No market. No melting. Still cookies.

Honestly, I feel like we’re all winners here. 😂🍪

WEEKDAY DATE NIGHT! ⚾️🍪

Tonight we traded cookies for baseball and headed to the game! ❤️⚾️

A HUGE thank you to the Atlanta Braves for the tickets and to Cameron for the parking pass. You both helped make for one heck of a date night!

And let me just say this for anyone headed to Truist Park:

THE TRUIST LOT IS THE BOMB. 💣
Easy in. Easy out. None of that “where in the name of baseball did I park?” nonsense.

Now excuse us while we go enjoy some baseball, food, and a night off from the cookie hustle. 🍪⚾️

I grabbed Brian and Charlee and decided to take a little trip to see the vendors over at the Community Market at the Methodist Church by the V-PLEX, and let me tell you... we've got some seriously talented folks right here in Villa Rica.

Fresh produce, woodworkers, body care, freeze dried candy, treats and more local businesses... it's everything a community market should be.

If you haven't stopped by yet, put it on your list. Every purchase you make supports someone who's pouring their heart into what they do, and that matters. This Villa Rica Community Market is open on MONDAY afternoons, from 4-7PM. The Downtown Villa Rica Market at the Mill is open on THURSDAY from 4-7. You literally cannot go wrong!

We all do better when we support each other. So whether you're grabbing cookies from me, tomatoes from a farmer, handcrafted gifts, or something you didn't even know you needed until you saw it... shop local whenever you can.

Who's got a mobile detailer they absolutely swear by? 🚗✨

I'm looking for someone who does top-notch exterior detailing. I want to surprise my husband with it for his birthday, so I need someone who takes pride in their work and leaves a vehicle looking better than the day it rolled off the lot.
