There’s a reason they say watch the dough, not the clock. 💕

You can’t rush a good rise. You can’t force something to be ready before it’s ready. You give it the right conditions, a little care…and then you wait. 😅

Funny how life works the same way.

Sometimes we’re so busy watching the clock—wondering when something will happen, when things will change, when we’ll finally get where we’re trying to go—that we forget to notice the growing happening right in front of us.

So today’s little reminder, courtesy of a bowl of cinnamon roll dough: 😂

🩷 Be patient.
🩷 Trust the process.
🩷 Pay attention to the progress, not the timeline.

Some of the very best things take a little longer.

Life turns on a dime, y’all. 💗

Just about the time you make a plan and think you’ve got things figured out… circumstances change, life happens, and sometimes you just have to pivot. 😅

I know I may have seemed a little wishy-washy lately with what’s happening (or not happening 🤣) with ShandiKakes, but I’ve always tried to be transparent and share things as they come. The truth is, I’m simply taking life one day at a time right now and adjusting plans when I need to.

But one thing that HASN’T changed? I’m not done. Not even close. 🥰

Give me just a little more time to get some things settled, and I promise—I’ll be back at it BIG with the ShandiKakes cart, plenty of sweet treats, and some other exciting things I’ve got up my sleeve. 👀🩷

Sometimes plans change. Sometimes the timeline changes. The dream doesn’t.
