Once you try one, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it! specializes in Britain’s iconic compact pies filled with savoury meats or vegetables. The taste of Britain is here. The name sounds odd, doesn’t it? It’s actually pronounced ‘pass’ as in football and ‘tee’ as in golf. The most important thing? A pasty is a savoury meat and/or vegetable pie that’s a complete meal in its own right and designed to eat on the go while also being tremendously satisfying. At The Pure Pasty Co., we use a variety of fillings ranging from all-natural, grass-fed beef to USDA Choice Halal lamb to fresh seasonal vegetables! Our menu features different pies like steak and kidney, Aussie pies, and cottage pies. We use only the highest quality ingredients and strive to use organic, sustainable, and local ingredients whenever possible to ensure you a truly delicious and guilt-free pasty. Cottage pie is everything you’d want on a cool October evening: rich minced beef, onions and carrots in a proper gravy, topped with fluffy mash, all tucked inside a golden, crimped crust. It’s a whole Sunday dinner you can hold in one hand and eat any night of the week (starting Thursday). 🥧🍂

Have a nosy at this 👀 It’s got double-stacked proper ovens, it’s shiny, and it’s very nearly ready to take handmade pasties to places they’ve never been. Your office car park? The school fête? Halfway down the W&OD trail?

We’re not saying where. We’re not saying when. We’re just saying: keep your eyes peeled.

Same time next year? Go on then. 🍻

A massive thank you to everyone who queued, chatted, and stuffed their faces at our tent at Vienna Oktoberfest on Saturday. We came armed with a mountain of pasties and went home with nearly empty trays. Sold out of almost every flavour. Absolutely chuffed (and slightly knackered).

Huge cheers to Matt and Joe for holding the fort with a smile. Legends, the pair of them. 👏

Breakfast of champions! (literally, we’ve won three World Pasty Championships). 🇬🇧🏈

The Commanders have popped over to London for the weekend. Tottenham, no less. Kick-off’s at 9:30am our time, which makes it a breakfast match, and there’s only one proper breakfast for a match in London. 🥐🏈

We open at 11 on Sunday so here’s the game plan:

🛵 Can’t be bothered to get off the sofa? Fair enough. Order on DoorDash or Uber Eats the moment we open at 11 and we’ll have hot pasties on your doorstep around halftime. No missed plays, no trousers required.

🔥 Fancy a stroll? Pop in from 11 for hot ones straight from the warmer.

This Saturday we're rocking up at Vienna Oktoberfest with a menu that's had a proper Bavarian makeover:

Pork Jaeger: herby slow-braised pork and mushrooms, folded through a tangy, bacon-flecked German potato salad. Wunderbar in a crust.

Traditional Beef: the classic. 'nuff said.

Cheese & Onion: Britain's favourite crisp flavour, but make it lunch.

Half Sausage Rolls: flaky, golden, better get two because they're gone in about three bites.

And for afters:
Pumpkin Pie Pasty + Pumpkin Choco Chip Pasty 🎃

Making Britain's favourite curry into portable pastry may be one of our smartest moves yet. 🌶️

Lamb jalfrezi is on special this week! Diced lamb leg marinated overnight in garlic, ginger, yogurt and our own spice blend, then slow-baked until tender. Red and green peppers roasted separately so they keep their colour and their bite. Bright, tomato-forward, properly spiced and in the warmer now, until 7:30pm. 📍128C Church St NW, Vienna

What we're serving:
🐖 Pork Jaeger: herby slow-braised pork and mushrooms, folded through a tangy, bacon-flecked German potato salad. Wunderbar in a crust.
🥟 Traditional Beef: the classic. Beer's best mate.
🧀 Cheese & Onion: Britain's favourite crisp flavour, but make it more filling and better for pint pairing.
🌭 Sausage Rolls: flaky, golden, gone in about three bites.
🥧 Pumpkin Pie Pasty: autumn, crimped.
🎃 Pumpkin Choco Chip Pasty: pudding, sorted.

We'll have water, Coke and Diet Coke to wash it all down. We'll leave the steins to the professionals. 🍻
