Since the garden reels decided to go a little mega viral 😅🌱… you all had QUESTIONS.
So here are a few answers about our little backyard garden — yes, Hubby built it, yes, the black tarp was intentional 😂, and no… it’s not in our front yard. Corner-lot problems, friends. It’s our side yard, and that just happens to be where the sun understood the assignment. ☀️
But truly, the best part has been watching our girls walk out, pick what we’ve grown, and learn where their food comes from. 🤎

Not every season is meant for blooming. Some are simply meant to show us how much we’ve grown. 🌿
The garden looks a little different this time of year—slower, quieter, a little more worn—but that doesn’t erase everything that happened here.
And maybe that’s the reminder we need too.
Growth doesn’t always look exciting. Progress doesn’t always feel obvious. Sometimes you have to look back at where you started to realize just how far you’ve come.
Keep growing. Keep becoming. And give yourself a little more credit for the progress you may not notice every day. 🤍

October Schedule Update – The Bread Lady 🍂

🥖 Twice-a-Month Baking: Just a reminder that I’m now baking twice a month, with quantities greatly increased each bake week so there’s more goodness to go around!

🎃 Fall Flavors Are in Full Swing: We’re officially in the heart of cozy season, which means all those warm, delicious fall flavors are here!

🤎 A Little Scheduling Note: There will be a two-week gap between our last October Porch Pickup and our first one in November, so be sure to plan ahead and stock up!

There’s just something about the finishing touches—the kitchen is full, the pickup table is filling up, and I’m over here piping cream cheese icing onto Carrot Cake Sweet Breads like this is exactly where I’m supposed to be. 🤎
Busy? Absolutely. But it’s the good kind. The kind that comes from creating with my hands, feeding my community, and watching a simple bake turn into something extra special.
