August felt like one foot still in summer and the other slowly stepping into a brand new season. 🌿☀️📚
We renewed our passports for an exciting adventure on the horizon ✈️, I received my new favorite half apron (it’s the little things 🤎), and our garden absolutely showed OFF. Baskets of veggies, homemade tomato sauce, fresh eggs from my SIL, and those beautiful last blooms reminding me to soak it all in before the season changes. 🍅🌸
Our days started finding their rhythm again too—getting back into school with our oldest, stepping into my little teacher era again with Pre-K for our youngest 🥹📚, consistently making time to move my body, and drinking approximately 847 cups of tea along the way. ☕️😂
And then there was a little bit of magic… catching our first monarch caterpillar and getting to watch the entire transformation until it finally spread its wings and flew away. 🐛🦋 Definitely one of those simple summer memories I hope we never forget.
Somewhere between motherhood, teaching, gardening and baking, I even managed to sneak away for a much-needed facial from a lovely friend—and whew, was it needed. 🤍
August was full, but it was the kind of full I’m learning to appreciate more and more. Full of things grown with our own hands. Full of little moments with my girls. Full of new routines, things to look forward to, and so many lovely bakes.
And through every season, this community continues to be woven into it all. Every order, porch pickup, kind word and familiar face allows me to keep doing something I truly love.
Summer, you’ve been so good to us. Now let’s see what this next season brings. 🍂🍞🤎
Stick around—there’s more to come. 🌾🌱

A little Monday reminder that not every fresh start has to be big or life-changing.
Sometimes it’s feeling good in your own skin, enjoying your favorite drink before it gets cold, finding a little peace in the middle of the chaos, and being surprised by something beautiful you didn’t see coming.
I hope this week is gentle with you. I hope you notice the good moments, even the tiny ones. And I really hope something amazing finds its way to you.
Happy Monday, friends. 🤍

There’s something so special about baking just because I want to. 🤎
This slower season has been giving me space to come back to the parts of baking I fell in love with in the first place — trying new recipes, making something simply because it sounds delicious, and filling our kitchen with good things for the people I love most.
A couple of week’s ago, I baked my friend’s Cinnamon Roll Pull-Apart Sourdough Focaccia, and ohhhh my goodness. The cinnamon, the buttery layers, the pull-apart pieces… absolutely worth slowing down for.
Sometimes productivity looks like filling orders and checking things off the list. And sometimes it looks like flour on the counter, something sweet in the oven, and my family waiting for the first warm piece.
I’m learning to make room for more of the second kind. 🤎

Andddd he did it again. 😂
Apparently my husband’s favorite hobby is standing at the window and narrating me existing in the garden like he’s filming a nature documentary.
“Look at all my hard work.”
“She don’t be out there doing no work.”
“Absolutely nothing besides watering.”
“Look at that pepper… it’s GREEN. Duh.” 😭😂
Meanwhile, I’m just out there minding my business, checking on my plants for the 47th time and enjoying my little happy place. 🌱
And before anyone comes for this man in the comments 😂 — I promise, he really does love me. This is genuinely just us. We have been together long enough that lovingly roasting each other is basically part of the marriage vows at this point.
He builds it.
I obsess over it.
He claims all the credit.
I make content about it.
And somehow you all get entertained in the process. 😂
Stick around—there’s more to come. 🌾🌱

“Today’s the day” sounds a little dramatic, doesn’t it? Like we’re supposed to wake up motivated, have a plan, and suddenly become the person who has it all together.
That’s definitely not how most Mondays feel around here.
Sometimes “today’s the day” just means doing the thing you’ve been putting off. Starting before you feel completely ready. Taking one small step instead of trying to figure out the whole staircase.
There are so many things in life that I’m still figuring out as I go, and I’m learning that waiting until I feel 100% ready usually just keeps me standing still.
So this is your Monday reminder—and mine too:
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just have to start somewhere. 🤍
Stick around—there’s more to come. 🌾🌱

Amazon really said, “Why use one box when we can use ALL the boxes?” 😂📦
One back-to-school supply order for my daughter somehow turned into an obscene amount of separate Amazon packages… all delivered in ONE day. So naturally, I had to document the chaos. 😂
At least we are officially stocked and ready for school! ✏️📓🎒
I also updated my Amazon Storefront with the school supplies and other items from her haul in case you’re still checking things off your back-to-school list. 🛒✨
Now please tell me I’m not the only one whose front porch looks like an Amazon distribution center this time of year. 😅

Life doesn’t have to be sunny to be beautiful. ☔🤍
Lately, it feels like life has been throwing us one thing after another… a new hot water tank, my car in the shop, my husband’s car in the shop, an AC repair, a garbage disposal that decided it was done and now a main bathroom sink is leaking. None of it was on the calendar, and none of it was in the budget.
But here’s the thing I’ve been reminding myself…
These are moments, not forever.
Life isn’t beautiful because everything goes according to plan. It’s beautiful because, somehow, we keep showing up anyway. We adapt. We laugh when we can. We figure it out. We find joy in the middle of the mess.
The rain eventually passes, but even while it’s falling, there’s still so much to be thankful for.
So if life feels a little heavy right now, know this: your story isn’t defined by the hard season you’re walking through. Keep going. There is beauty here too. 🤍🌧️
Stick around—there’s more to come. 🌾🌱

July was proof that life can be wonderfully full… and wonderfully unpredictable. 🌿🍞✨
We kicked off the month with my very first cookie-only porch pickup for the Fourth of July (and I already can’t wait to do it again! 🇺🇸🍪). The bakery finally got a much-needed upgrade with a Tineco mop (if you know, you know 😅), and I continued my mission to perfect the art of a homemade matcha latte. 🍵
Between all the baking, I soaked up the little moments with my girls, watched our tiny caterpillar transform into a beautiful butterfly, and stood in awe as the garden seemed to grow more with each passing day. 🌱🦋
Life also kept us on our toes… replacing our washer and dryer AND our hot water tank all in the same month wasn’t exactly on the summer bucket list. 😅 But if this month reminded me of anything, it’s that even when life throws the unexpected your way, there’s still so much beauty to be found in the ordinary.
So here’s to another month of lovely bakes, messy kitchens, growing gardens, grateful hearts, and a community that continues to make this little bakery feel like home. Thank you for being here. 💛
Stick around—there’s more to come. 🌾🌱
