Locally Grown Baby Shower 🤍
Every once in a while I have a set that I don’t want to part with - this one was it! I actually wrote the date down incorrectly and had less than 48 hours to make this set from start to finish. I guess less time to ponder resulted in one of my favorites, but not an ideal situation for my stress levels.

A friendly reminder that your baker is human, probably juggles their home business, family, and every other little item that pops up along the way. If you don’t get a confirmation a couple of days prior, check in! This customer was BEYOND understanding and even apologized to me (what?!?). I was able to fill the order and personally deliver it. How you speak to someone makes a difference. Be gracious, be kind, be forgiving. You never know what someone else is going through. 🤍

These two! Last night we celebrated my grandparents 65th Anniversary. How lucky to be loved for sixty-five years! 💗💗💗

They’ve built a life around family and traditions, go on adventures, show up at their great-grandkids sporting event, and so much more. May their love and commitment to each other and our family be an inspiration to us all!

Last weekend I had the honor of making cookies for the OG cookie hustlers: Girl Scouts. Through the process of planning, I learned about the bridging ceremony and crossing from one level to the next. It is such a wholesome tradition that has continued into this digital generation. I was so excited to be a part of it.

While we aren’t a Scout family, we know plenty of kids who are, and the level of commitment and grit these kids put in to earning their badges is admirable.

Congrats to Troop 77299 - YOU DID IT! (and if you get that reference, let’s be besties.)

A HUGE shoutout to 🌳Aldrich Landscape LLC🌳 for their *BEYOND* generous donation of time and materials to Sylvania Schools Maplewood Elementary.

Our Garden Club reached out to our local Facebook group looking for donations of pavers and DJ at Aldrich responded almost immediately. He was communicative, prompt, and so easy to work with. He’s also a Sylvania Alum who wanted to give back to the community. He and his team worked during their off-hours to take the space from drab to fab! 😉

Thank you, DJ! Your work in the community is beyond appreciated.
