Thank you Iredell Free News for the article on Oakwood Bread Company this week! A lot of nice folks came by the Rotary Farmer's Market today and said they enjoyed reading about our Sourdough Breads and Rolls. We sold out by 10am this morning!
Not to worry we will have plenty more next week. BLT season is upon us! 😋🍞🍅

What makes our Sourdough Bread stand up and sing an Aria? All of your favorite sandwich ingredients! Summer fresh herbs, greens, robust cheeses, and a delicate pancetta...or beautiful chicken salad with some aromatic garden Romain or Red Curly Lettuce.
I personally can't wait for that first garden sun kissed Heirloom tomato, Bacon & Cucumber Sandwich. Even Duke's Mayo tastes better on Oakwood Sourdough Breads.
See you this Saturday at The Rotary Farmers Market 7am-12pm. We normally sell out of many items fast so if you have a personal request let me know by Thursday afternoon. I will hold those for pick up Saturday at the market.

Somebody said it will be rainy tomorrow morning. We ain't skeered of a little rain, we're grateful,!! 🫣 😂
I've got some seriously swole fresh Sourdough ready to tempt y'all. This week's starter is feeling froggy 🐸, maybe the humidity but all the recipes are looking buoyant to say the least.
The Rotary Farmers Market opens at 7am-12pm. We will all be there with our pop ups and umbrellas. Great organic produce, pastries, fresh cookies, live Tomato plants in 5 gallon buckets ready to go, canned goods, honey, a new converted Horse Trailer for Hot Coffee and locally raised pork products (Chorizo that rocks!), Art and Oakwood Bread Company, LLC Sourdough Breads and Rolls. You have to walk the dog anyway and your children need some treats... Hope to see you loyal Farmer's Market renegades!

Big shout out to all the Vendors at the Saturday Rotary Farmers Market yesterday! Attendance was pretty good for our second opening market of the season. All of the vendors I talked with were encouraged by the uptick in sales. It was good to see a lot of familiar faces, curious children those well behaved dogs, and lots new folks coming for the first time. It's great to see our towns growing.
Thank you to all of our Oakwood Bread Company, LLC Sourdough fans for spreading the word and butter! We will slip something new in each week to keep y'all curious! I wonder what's baking for next week?? 😋

Bustin up some Sourdough moves for the Rotary Farmers Market this Saturday 7am-12pm.
Come early before we sell out.
Bring the children, walk your dogs, come out and meet the nicest people in our great little town.
There's a Fresh Coffee truck, Sweet goodies, farm fresh organic veggies, art, honey...

Never seen this visitor here before. Anyone know what bird this is? I thought maybe adolescent Kite. That beak and the eyes are more like a hawk, but the feet are not hawk like.
