If you’re in one place long enough you see a lot of things. Civil ceremonies. Wedding dresses dawn the slightly creaking front door. Babies, “we’re expecting” and then they’re toddling on the wood floors. And in between the joyously frantic father coming to get coffee for his wife newly beholding motherhood. Family in town, reunions, first dates, second dates, engagements. Old friends and new friends. You see the same cars drive by and park. The trees go from lush to autumn hued to maybe snow maybe not. After all it’s NC. Some get the same drink so regularly we can make it as they walk in the door. Some adventurers who always try new things. Some cruffin die hards. Some savory only fans. Crafts strewn on tables, books open and piled.
You’ve got a paper due? You’ve got your parents in town? How’s the move? How’s the baby? How are you.
You all get a million thanks and best wishes from us. What a joy to get to see all these things. For two years and many more. We love haven a good time with y’all. :)
