Our veterans have given so much in service to our country. This Veterans Day, our community is coming together to offer a small gesture of gratitude for the sacrifices they’ve made and the freedoms they’ve helped protect.

Some new stuff on the table in the morning: Cinnamon buns….cinnamon swirl loaves….orange cranberry loaves…..along with the usual plethora of cookies. 🤗🤗🤗

The top rack of a just-finished dishwasher load is the next best thing to a proofing drawer for my cinnamon roll dough. 🤭🤭🤭. Oh! They will be on the table tomorrow at the Rotary Farmers Market. Hope to see your faces. 💕🫶🏻‼️

After doing the farmers markets for so long, you realize your fellow vendors and regular customers become family. 💕. This morning I attended the funeral of one of those family members: Michael White. He came most weeks to the Rotary Farmers Market on Saturday morning. I was always his first stop. He’d stock up with a pile of sweet treats (most of which he gifted to his peeples). He would entrust his pile and his keys to me while he shopped the other vendors. He usually bought something from most of them. He was a very generous human. The last time I saw him it was different; he was shakey, frail; but he was standing and had a big smile. He came in with a big hug. I did not know it was our last visit. I will miss you, Mr. White. 🥹🥹🥹. I will see you laters !!!!! 💕💕💕
