Magnolia Lake Farms Homemade Sourdough bread When my grandmother was young, she was gifted some amazing sourdough bread starter.

Up until her passing, she continued to use it to make her amazing bread for our family! My mother told me a story of how, growing up, one of her favorite things was fresh bread on Sundays after church! Now, years later, we have decided that it is time to share our bread with all of you!. This very same sourdough starter is still going strong and being used to make our bread loaves. Although we hav

e expanded and created some new recipes, the original bread is still our main attraction! Magnolia Lake Farms strives to make some of the best and freshest bread products in the Northeast Louisiana region. And thanks to you, our amazing customers, we are well on our way!

This girl has been through a lot over the last 6 weeks. As some of you know, we started a pretty major home renovation back in March. 6 weeks ago, Rebecca was working at the house painting in the living room. While working around the tallest part of the ceiling, she fell off the ladder and injured herself pretty bad. She ended up with a broken leg and 3 fractured vertebrae in her back.
21 days in the hospital and another 21 days of inpatient physical therapy later, she finally got to come home this morning! She's still got a ways to go, but she's improving every day and expected to make a full recovery!

We still have some down time ahead of us, but our daughter will hopefully be back at the Farmers Markets in the coming weeks selling bread again. Thank you all for your patience and understanding!

Good morning friends. Just wanted to send a quick note to let everyone know that we will not be making bread deliveries to stores or farmers markets for the next 3-4 weeks. Our renovation work is beginning to wrap up and should be done by early July. Also, our bread maker/daughter has gone on a well deserved summer vacation and will be returning in July. We apologize for any inconvenience and can't wait to get back to our normal schedule some time after the July 4th holiday. Thank you all for your patience and understanding!
