Chouquette is looking for an experienced Cake Baker to join our team.

This is a full-time position, five days per week, for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and understands volume baking. Our ideal candidate is organized, dependable, communicates well, and can consistently produce high-quality products while managing multiple projects at once.

Requirements:
• Experience with volume baking and production work
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and consistency
• Reliable transportation and punctuality

It’s the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! I don’t know about the rest of y’all but we just wrapped up our first year of high school and it was big transition. After all the, “Bruh I forgot to give you this permission slip for tomorrow ”😳, and “Nah Mom, they just haven’t updated the grades in portal”🤨 I’m planning to end the school year with a treat. This Tuesday morning, students from will be taking over Chouquette for a few hours as part of a program that gives high school students hands-on experience with local small businesses while introducing them to different career paths throughout the year.

The students will be spending time both front of house and back of house, learning about customer service, pastry production, teamwork, and the day-to-day reality of running a bakery and café.

We hope you’ll stop by, encourage them, and cheer them on a little. You never know, we may have a few future pastry chefs and café owners in the group.
