PSEG has blocked parking in front of the store while they refresh the gas pipes. Also you cannot go east on South Orange Avenue past Valley Road.

A special note to my friends who love Whitefish as much as I do. We have Jumbo Whitefish from the Great Lakes. It is tender, fatty and delicious! They are so big we are cutting them into smaller portions and getting you just the prime part of the fish.

Happy New Year to those who celebrate!

Thank you for thinking of Sonny's for your Break Fast celebration.

Yom Kippur starts on the evening of Tuesday, October 4th and ends with Break Fast on Wednesday, October 5th.

It is our pleasure to feed your family as we move forward in the New Year. It's our busiest time of the year and I want to make sure that you get everything you want for the festive meal.

The easiest way to order is on our website, where you can select from a la carte options, packages, or platters. If you would like to customize a platter please call the store and we will be happy to help you.

Please order no later than Friday, September 30th by 5 pm.

In order to properly serve our customers who pre-ordered, we will be unable to take ANY orders after Friday, September 30th at 5pm.

Unfortunately, due to the volume of orders, we will be unable to make ANY exceptions.

DON'T BE DISAPPOINTED - ORDER SOON!

If you miss the deadline we will have lots of a la carte items and a limited number of spreads platters and nova platters available for walk in customers. (But we will sell out)

There will be a special line for pre-orders.

Walk-ins are welcome after 8 am on October 5th- but please plan for longer lines due to the holiday rush.

We appreciate your patience

In store pick-up is available on
Tuesday from 7 am to 1 pm, and on
Wednesday from 8 am to 4 pm.

Delivery on Tuesday will be from 8 am to noon. On Wednesday, in order to satisfy all of our customers, delivery is available for orders over $300.

Delivery on Wednesday will be in 2 hour windows ending at 4pm.

Passover starts on the evening of Friday, April 15th. Let Sonny's be a part of your Seder!

We have delicious Gefilte Fish, so good, we sell lots of it all year long. Please order by Wednesday at Noon to guarantee availability.

New this year is our Gluten Free Bagel which is made with almond flour, mozzarella cheese, egg and cream cheese. NO Wheat Flour, NO yeast and NO Rising. While not Kosher for Passover it might fill your need if you are abstaining from bread.

Other ways we can help make your Seder easy: Try a Hummus Platter (with matzah crackers and lots of veggies), a Pickle Platter, or a sweet Fruit Plate.

Don't forget spreads for your matzah- Whitefish Salad, Baked Salmon Salad, Tuna, Egg Salad, or even some Herring! Also delicious is plain cream cheese with everything seasoning. (available under cream cheese on the website)

A breakfast idea and the inspiration for our wildly popular LEO Salad.

Lox, Eggs and Onions
Heat some oil or butter in a pan. Sauté half of a medium onion (chopped) until soft. Mix in 1/4 pound of chopped nova and cook for another 2 minutes; then add 6 well beaten eggs (I like to add a tablespoon of butter to the pan with the eggs.) Stir gently until the eggs are set. Salt + pepper to taste. (You can chop the Nova yourself of buy our pre-chopped Nova). Serves 2 to 3 people. Enjoy!
