A very specific One Piece cake for Mr. Beckett! I was really thrown as to how to decorate this cake but was kind enough to have Beckett record exactly what he imagined his birthday cake to be and I was able to bring it to life! It is honestly the best when I hear someone, especially a kid, say it's perfect and exactly what they wanted! Making someone's vision come to life is the hardest and most rewarding part of this passion. It was a challenging version of fun building the Going Merry ship because all of the instructions were in KOREAN! But thankfully I have years of lego and furniture building under my belt so the ship was made once I mentally locked in! I honestly discover so many new things from Beckett's interests every year and it's awesome. Love when parents encourage their kids to discover new interests and thrive. Thank you for thinking of me every year Ashley, it's truly so much fun doing these cakes for your boys!

It's a birthday plant...nope, it's a cake! Loved making this potted plant for Bianca for her birthday. It's such a wonderful thing to have beauty in growth and this snake plant with the vining leaves of the golden pathos draped around it represents exactly that. "Classy, modern and male" were the directions given along with navy, cream and gold. While the theme was loosely regatta, I was told to not make it too on theme but cohesive. The sails were my interpretation of "cohesive but not on theme" and thankfully, the client loved it! Clean and elegant will hit the mark every time, especially for "male" cakes. To me, cake is cake, as long as I get to eat it, I'm happy! Happy 65th birthday Cap! Here's to your many more adventures.

Just realized I never posted this beauty from months ago! The baby in bloom theme was so adorable. I loved the flowers springing with new hope and the purple cupcakes with gold accents as a take home gift for all guests. It all came together so beautifully. Thank you for thibking of me for another celebration. All of your events turn out stunning and I'm so proud to be a part of them!

Celebrating so many great Sagittariuses this month! This awesome black cake with silver accents and a few pops of gold to really make it shine! It was so much creating this stunner. Post delivery ended with some misadventures but I had some wonderful people to help me while in distress. The brotherhood of the immigrant community will always warm my heart. Even in the face of adversity, we rise above because we rise together. A big thanks to .stylebyshirleyb for thinking of me and letting me make great hubby's birthday cake. Happy birthday, ! One of my favorite designs for one of my favorite people. I am privileged enough to have several wonderful women love me as their own child, and my bestie's mom is one of them. We celebrated this lovely fellow Sagittarius's birthday, since it was the day after Thanksgiving this year. A front forward cake is always a challenge but she ia worth every effort. Another wedding cake done! Simple and elegant is always a winner and the soft blue hydrangeas were just gorgeous. I absolutely loved the custom Lego cake toppers if the bride and groom! This one had some classic flavors of marble, red velvet and chocolate chocolate chip. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to make your special day that much more beautiful. This was one of the coolest cakes I have done! I love when Ive built trust with friends and clients and they give me some basic parameters, like head count, flavor and theme, and let's me do the rest. It give me the fun of brainstorming, creating a concept and even trying out new techniques. Finn was so happy and excited about the cake. To hear a child say, "whoa! Thats so cool!" Is honestly one of the highlights and highest compliments of my job. I cant believe I've been doing these boys' cakes for 5 years! Thank you for always letting me be a part of your boys' milestones and trusting me to deliver a fun cake!
