What a sweet baby shower cake from back in the beginning of June. 2nd baby for a very special person in my life, perfect for the little gentleman on the way. I also did these cupcakes with the hand made custom edible toppers to pair with the cake as favors for the guests. The whole cake came out so adorable and I was truly lucky to be able to do another cake for this person. Thank you again for thinking of me and letting me be a part of another milestone! Ru Ahmed

Back at the end of May, my precious baby Imani Ahmed graduated from high school and left for boot camp as Army National Guard. I haven't seen her since June and my heart aches for her in ways I can barely comprehend. This was graduation cake and the first time I've been sad making a cake knowing she would be gone soon. She has been one if my best friends, the 1st born if my heart, for 18 years. Soon, I will get to watch her graduate again and head off to another 30 weeks of training at another base. I can't wait to wrap my arms around her. Her favorite lemon cake with fresh raspberries to mark another milestone of many for my brave invincible soldier. Ru Ahmed

Earlier this month, I get to celebrate one of my most favorite people in ny life! Every year, she let's me have creative freedom to make something special and beautiful for her birthday. This year, I did a bar cake in white chocolate creamsicle! This was a very special year for us, we traveled abroad together for 2 weeks and had the most magical time in London and Paris. It takes a special bond to travel together and an even more special one to miss each other right away after you've returned to your daily lives. As much as I hate rectangular/square cakes, this one was really special and beautiful, just like my bestie Zinnia Siddiqui! Happy birthday to my favorite fire sign! Ru Ahmed

One of the most magical fairy garden cakes I've gotten the privilege to make! Ive done several of these floral garden cakes but this was by far my best and favorite. The florals were so delicate and perfect with the theme. Every time I've gotten to do one of Farah Modasser's cakes, she has provided such a clear vision for her theme, I've been able to make the cake match perfectly. Some people were just meant to be in sync, I guess. I've been lucky enough to call her a wonderful client but even luckier to now call her a friend and celebrate with her beautiful family. A very specific One Piece cake for Mr. Beckett! I was really thrown as to how to decorate this cake but was kind enough to have Beckett record exactly what he imagined his birthday cake to be and I was able to bring it to life! It is honestly the best when I hear someone, especially a kid, say it's perfect and exactly what they wanted! Making someone's vision come to life is the hardest and most rewarding part of this passion. It was a challenging version of fun building the Going Merry ship because all of the instructions were in KOREAN! But thankfully I have years of lego and furniture building under my belt so the ship was made once I mentally locked in! I honestly discover so many new things from Beckett's interests every year and it's awesome. Love when parents encourage their kids to discover new interests and thrive. Thank you for thinking of me every year Ashley, it's truly so much fun doing these cakes for your boys!

It's a birthday plant...nope, it's a cake! Loved making this potted plant for Bianca for her birthday. It's such a wonderful thing to have beauty in growth and this snake plant with the vining leaves of the golden pathos draped around it represents exactly that. Thank you for thinking of me Bianca and letting me be a part of your special day. Lavender cake with fresh blueberry compote in this one.
