First as I do every year want to give thanks and acknowledge all of our amazing patrons customers and family for the unending support as we come to the unofficial end of our 20th year in business. I was very moved by several compliments about the quality of our chocolates and appreciation you all have for Go To Chocolate.
Also a last reminder for our open house tomorrow night at the factory in San Carlos from 5 - 8 PM.
Having said that I wanted to give a shout out to my brother-in-law Steve Cardiasmenos who had a world premier of his composition for chorus, piano and string orchestra “Christmas Is For Me”. It was performed by the Peninsula Cantare under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Benson. Steve also adding his own tenor voice along with wife Leslie alto to what appeared to be close to 100 voices. It sounded amazing to my semi untrained ear but the fact that the conductor chose Steve’s song to add to the once a year program which only had about 8 selections is telling but even more importantly the musicians and singers that came up to Steve afterwards with congratulations and thank you’s with words like challenging, beautiful and moving. They clearly loved performing Steve’s music! You could hear and see it in their performance and see it on their faces as their compliments gushed out Steve afterwards.
Very proud of my BNL. Can’t wait to hear what’s next.
