Preorders for our back-to-school pop-up at Fireside Books & More in Redwood City close in a week. We'll be there on August 29th from 12-4pm. The menu features some of our summer favorites along with two new menu items! We've got Blackberry Shortbread Bars baked with local Rootstock berries. Also, for our chocoholics, a salted caramel & honeycomb cake slice.

My daughter has been away at camp for the past month and in every letter she’s written, she’s asked me to bring these peanut butter marshmallow brownies when I pick her up tomorrow! I couldn’t possibly let her down. So even though it’s 90 degrees today, I’m in my kitchen baking. It’s just what us moms do, right?

She may be more excited for the sweets, but I can’t wait to give her a big hug! I also spent my childhood summers at sleep away camp and it was always such a treat when my mom brought brownies or cookies for me. Pretty cool that I can keep this tradition alive!

Spent the morning filming something super fun that I can't wait to share with you all. I love the summer months in the bakery because it tends to be a bit slower with custom orders, and I have some space to breathe and to plan ahead for all of my fall events. It's also when I do a lot of my recipe testing. You can see one of my newest Pop-Tart creations- London Fog with Blackberry Jam--peeking out of the back of the frame.

As we head into August (gasp!) keep After-School Snack Attack in mind if you're gathering friends and family for back-to-school BBQs, Labor Day events or just a special treat for all of those reluctant kids (and teachers!) headed back to the classroom.

Hotplate preorders are now live for our June 20th Pop-Up at the Ladera Garden & Gifts Artisan Market in Belmont. Check out our menu below and join After-School Snack Attack and some other amazing local small businesses for shopping and snacking!

We'll be set up and ready to go by 9am and we'll be there until 12pm or until we sell out. Last weekend we were sold out in two hours so come early if you want maximum selection, OR EVEN BETTER, preorder and have your treats boxed and waiting for you.

Hello Snackers! We're only a few days away for our next pop-up with . I'm looking forward to being there with a delicious summer menu and, of course, FREE SAMPLES!

When: June 6th, 12pm-4pm
Where: Courthouse Square, downtown Redwood City
Who: Friends with Denim recycled clothing vendors After-School Snack Attack, , The Chai Lab and La Maja Empanadas.
Free & Open to the Public

Preordering closes tomorrow evening (June 2nd) on Hotplate. Preordering is great because you can select exactly what you want, pay online, and it will be boxed and ready for you.
