Ang Ku Kueh/Kue Tok/Kue Ku
(Red Turtle Cakes), kali ini bikin tambahan varian yang rasa pandan (warna Hijau) dengan isi kacang tanah.
Proses panjang, terutama proses pembuatan filling, sangat bagus untuk melatih kesabaran, colek NIZAR 💬 a remote worker, a legal alien, a pawrent. 🤭 tapi hasil akhirnya sangat memuaskan terutama saya memang sudah lama sekali merindukan rasa kue ini.
Jujur yah, jika saya tidak pernah meninggalkan tanah air, saya tidak akan merasa perlu melestarikan resep warisan Mama, karena tinggal pergi ke pasar aja klo pengen jajanan pasar. Setuju gak para temen2 Diaspora?

Experiment on new baking method on Chiffon Cake. Same recipe, but different result.
Even the taste a little different too. Left is more moist but not as fluffy as the right cake.

Begini yah klo anak Tekpang (Teknologi Pangan) dagang kue, ada2 aja yg mau di revisi. Gak puas dikit langsung bongkar ulang dan kutak katik step by step nya.
Disuruh istirahat baking dulu, tetap aja sibuk penelitian di dapur bakery🧐

Baru sempat posting hasil cake sifon jeruk mandarin jadoel (cakenya mah udah habis 🤭)
Cakenya padat, tapi gak seret, lembut banget.. dan suami saya lebih s**a tekstur cake yang ini. Dia bilang cake sifon kita fluffy kayak awan. Makan 1/2 loyang sendirian pun gak berasa kenyang.
