Welcome to In the Mix cakes by Maria Introduction and policies

In the Mix cakes by Maria is a Veteran owned business. I am a mom of three beautiful girls and wife to a wonderful husband. I have been a pastry chef for 7 years and decorating cakes for 14 years. My passion is making clients happy on their special day whether it be a shower of any type, birthday celebration, graduations, anniversari

es and weddings. I specialize in custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies and pastries. If you have any specific dietary restrictions I can work with that as well. I worked in the bakery industry for many years until I decided I was ready to branch out on my own. I have been working and operating my business from home since 2019. I am so thankful for having such a great support system of family and friends who have made my business successful. Please continue reading for information regarding placing orders, pick up and cancellation policy. I do prefer to accept orders with more than two weeks in advance. If you are in need of a rushed order with less than a weeks time there is a $50 rush fee. I also can not guarantee that custom cake toppers will be available in time on short notice.
2. To submit an order request provide date of event, venue address (delivery only for orders above $150), servings needed. Possible flavors you’d like for cake and filling, if multiple tiers please note flavor for each.
3. If you have a theme or design in mind please submit your photos or design idea.
4. Please allow up to 24 hours for a quote. I do work from home and homeschool my children. I may be busy at the time that I receive your message request however I will get to you as soon as possible.
5. Once quote is completed you must submit a non-refundable deposit which is half of your total to confirm and hold your date within 24 hours. Bookings are first come first serve.
6. Payment is accepted in cash or through a payment app ($1 fee will apply for Venmo, PayPal or Cash app). I also accept Zelle where there is no payment fee.
7. Design changes are NOT allowed a week prior to your order being completed. If you do have a design change it could result in additional fee. All orders will now be pick up ONLY. Final payment must be made prior to arriving for your order.
2. Deliveries are available to orders over $150. Delivery fee will apply for anything over a 30 minute drive. Final payment must be submitted the day prior to delivery.
3. Please arrive at your scheduled pick up on time. If you need to reschedule your pick up/delivery please notify me a day before to arrange a new time. Cancellation Policy
1. If payment has been made in full only deposit will be non-refundable. Due to purchasing materials such as cake toppers, flowers, boxes, boards etc.
2. If you wish to reschedule your order for another date please do so at least a week prior to your event, new date may not be a guarantee depending on availability.
