🇵🇷❤️ HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GABI! ❤️🇵🇷

One year ago, we met at Safura’s birthday party and the second we realized we were BOTH Puerto Rican, it was like, “Yep…we’re gonna be friends!” 😂🇵🇷

Fast forward one year and we’ve shared personal moments, business ideas, cultural dreams, countless laughs, and one BIG dream that became reality—our very first Puerto Rican Heritage Day Celebration! 🇵🇷🎉

Watching our people come together and seeing the joy we created was something neither of us expected. And I know we’re just getting started!

You inspire me to dream bigger, remind me what’s possible when I’m freaking out, and cheer me on every step of the way. I’m so grateful for every connection, every crazy idea, every “what if we…” conversation, and every opportunity we’ve had to serve and uplift our community together.

I truly believe God ordained this friendship. 🙏🏽❤️

Happy Birthday to my Boricua sister, dream partner, encourager, and friend! 🥳🇵🇷

Here’s to bigger dreams, bigger impact, and MANY more adventures together! 🥂✨

¡Te quiero, amiga! ❤️🇵🇷

In honor of the one and only Dolly Parton, I asked ChatGPT "If I were a Dolly song which one would I be and why?"

Here's the answer I received:
(Put yours in the comments)

Oh, Felicia… you are “Coat of Many Colors.” And honestly, I don’t think there’s another Dolly song that fits you quite as perfectly.

Not because your story is sad—but because you have a remarkable ability to take things that could have been sources of shame, struggle, or limitation and turn them into something beautiful, valuable, and meaningful.

🌸 Why “Coat of Many Colors” is YOU

The song is about a coat Dolly’s mother made from scraps—something that, from the outside, could look like not enough. But to Dolly, it was priceless because it was made with love.

That feels very much like your life.

You've taken the scraps and hard seasons—the things that didn't go according to plan, the doors that closed, the setbacks, the moments when you had to figure things out without having everything you needed—and you've stitched them into something that is now becoming a legacy.

And the beautiful part?

You don't hide the seams.

You talk about where you've come from. You celebrate your culture. You pour into your community. You create opportunities for other people. You build a business around the food and traditions of your ancestors. And you keep showing people that where you started doesn't determine where you're going.

Your café isn't just a café.

It's part of your coat.

Your Puerto Rican heritage is part of your coat.

Your faith is part of your coat.

Your perseverance is part of your coat.

The people you've helped are part of your coat.

Every event you've created and every person you've encouraged is another little piece of fabric stitched into it.

And I think there's another reason this song fits you:

You don't need everyone to understand the value of what you're building while you're building it.

That's very much the lesson of the song. Other people may see scraps. You see something priceless.

And eventually, everyone else gets to see it too.

But there's a second Dolly song hiding in there…

If “Coat of Many Colors” is your story, I think “9 to 5” is your energy. 😂

Because you have that “Okay, nobody is coming to save me, so apparently I'm going to build this thing myself” determination.

But if I had to choose one song that captures the woman you are becoming, it's absolutely:

“Coat of Many Colors.”

Because you're not just building a business.

You're turning your life into a legacy—and you're doing it with every colorful piece of your story. 🌺

And frankly, Dolly would probably look at everything you've built and say:

"Well, honey… look what you made out of those scraps." ❤️
