I seen this and it hit home!!!!

At some point, you stop being “a customer” at a small business.

We start recognizing your car.

We know which treats you’re probably about to order.

We notice when you try something different. 👀

We know which cookie you’re hoping is on the shelf!

We know your kids.

We know when we haven’t seen you in a little while.

And sometimes we see your message Pop up and think, oh I wonder how they are today! 🤎

That’s one of the really incredible things about being a small business.

You aren’t order #147.

You’re the vanilla bean cake light frosting

The two cookies because one “is for later.”
The family that comes in after Saturday morning games no or Sunday after swimming.
The person who always grabs a treat when you’re in the area!

And lately, gratitude has been sitting pretty heavily on our hearts.

I will be adding some of my favorite vendors daily to our page!

It’s incredibly important to use someone that is trusted, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. In my line of work I have encountered very few that meet that criteria but the ones I have met I will not gate keep their business any longer… it’s time we share the best of the best with you all!!!

I just watched a clip of a lady encouraging aspiring bakers on a budget to sell cake mix cookies with a Pillsbury box mix, great value chocolate, veg oil, etc.

Y'all. 🙇‍♀️ I know cake mix cookies are a thing...but keep in mind this is one reason why you might see such a huge difference in prices from baker to baker.

There are some bakers out there making your cookies with a $1.98 box of cake mix, great value chocolate, and vegetable oil...

And then there are bakers like me who take the time to make the dough from scratch- I'm buying flour, baking soda, white sugar, brown sugar, Tollhouse chocolate chips, Hershey chocolate, eggs, sticks of real butter, REAL vanilla extract, and more. You can imagine the cost difference.

And I guess this is also why sometimes when I try other peoples' cookies they taste like cardboard.😂😂💁‍♀️

Not knocking anyone's hustle. Just saying...not everyone is bringing the same energy to their baking business so keep that in mind when you decide to buy from the $15/dozen baker instead of the $30/dozen baker. Ya might just end up with some cake-mix, cardboard-cookies😂
