I just want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for supporting The Smashing Dough Bar. Every order, every kind word, every share, and every smile has meant more to me than you could ever knowšŸ’ž

At this time, Iā€™ve made the decision to step back and cut way back on my baking so that I can focus more on my family. This has been a beautiful journey, and I am so grateful for the love and encouragement youā€™ve shown along the way.

This isnā€™t goodbye, itā€™s simply me shifting priorities for now. I hope to keep sharing sweet moments with you when Iā€™m able, and Iā€™ll always carry the joy youā€™ve given me in my heart.

I baked these with her and by ā€œbakedā€ I mean she baked and I tried to sneak chocolate chips when she wasnā€™t looking. šŸ˜‚

Now every time I make these cookies, I swear I can hear her saying, ā€œDonā€™t eat the dough, itā€™s not ready yet!ā€ Too late, Grandma. Too late!

Soft, chocolatey, and full of warm, fuzzy memories (and yes, a ridiculous amount of chips because she didnā€™t mess around). ā¤ļø Oh, she did add black walnuts when my Uncle William Stearns was coming to visitā¤ļø
