Where are my Princess Bride fans?! ✨💜

Finally sharing this fun & whimsical cake from October with a subtle nod to the bride’s favorite movie! I had so much fun working with Heather & Gabriel to design their wedding cake.

A classic, clean and white wedding cake is gorgeous, but the amazing & wonderful thing about wedding cake design is that no two need to be the same. The cake should be thought about & designed just like your other decor because it will be a part of that space, seen in the background of photos, and having its very own moment in the reception!

I always encourage clients to share things like linen swatches, florals, stationary, and color palettes so we can pull inspiration & create your one of a kind, perfect wedding cake!

The inside featured delicious options for guests too!

The wedding was held at & my clients wanted to incorporate the beautiful mountains that create the backdrop to the lake - plus a little shine! Edible silver leaf is always a fun pop!

The inside of the cake was a classic:
🍋 Lemon cake, raspberry jam, and lemon buttercream

A classic for a very good reason! Congratulations to the newlyweds!💕
