A little teary eyed boxing up my (flour dusted) mixer this morning 🥹 when we first moved into this house, I was *very new* to cake-ing. Over the last 5+ years I have made…. More cakes/cupcakes/desserts than I can dream of counting. My skill level (IMO 😂) has drastically improved. The friendships and people I’ve met through this is beyond imagination. The kids cakes I’ve made year after year, watching them grow from a Barbie cake to a sophisticated flower cake or a train cake to a football cake 😮‍💨 makes me weepy. I’m so very grateful. To my long time customers/friends and new that I get to continuously meet.

I’ve said it so many times, but this venture has allowed me to be a full time stay at home mom (with an additional part time job 😂). I’ve learned. I’ve grown. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve cried. I’ve panicked. I’ve felt utter joy. Accomplished things beyond my belief.

Looking forward to continuing this 🎂 venture (just across town)- with new visions and ideas ahead. Grateful 🥲 ❤️ 🫶

(Repost because instagram is evidently not tryna post all my pictures 🤷‍♀️ 😂) that…. Is a wrap 🎁 💝 😂 most of you know, I leave for the beach today and move (across town) the day after we get back 😮‍💨 and I am essentially booked for October (with a few mid week spots left in the 3rd/4th week) and already into November 🙏 have a lovely week! I will think of some fun posts this week helping me navigate the future of ellacakes 🙃
