I had an appt this week and after we were going to eat. I was looking up places by the va and a lot of restaurants stated they had gluten free items. Then I look on the menu and the only thing gluten free is a salad! What the heck 😳 🤣🤣 anyone else run into this issue??

25 years ago I was sitting on my bed in the barracks getting ready when I witnessed the aftermath of the 1st plane hit the 1st building. When the 2nd plane it I was sitting in the conference room with the rest of my command. The feelings and imagines of this day will forever be etched in my soul. I also remember how our country as a whole united and the tenderness and caring of one another that followed. I will never forget what transpired that day and the days and months to come. Today and everyday and every anniversary of 9/11 I sit and reflect on the lives lost at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, in Pennsylvania, and in the wars to follow, and how it forever changed our way of life.

It doesn't matter how many times you get it wrong. What matters is you keep on trying until you get it right! This time I got lucky only 3 tries to get my focaccia bread just right! No cardboard, dry, gummy, tasteless breads here! That isn't how we roll (total dad/boomer pun)

We are so excited to announce our new porch bakery in Rio Rancho coming in September 3 days a week. We cant wait for you all to try some of our regular menu items and some new and exciting pastries and desserts. We will be announcing the address, dates, and times at the end of August. Stay tuned!!!

We also still have availability for custom cake orders for the 1st 2 weeks of September and a few spaces available in October. Get your orders in!!!
