Since there are so many new talented bakers in Madison county, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and my bakery! My name is Jessica, I’ve lived in Richmond since 2
005 and I started baking when I could barley see over the counter of my grandmother’s kitchen. I was just 5 years old when I can remember hearing her tell me about all of the important things I need to know to make a pie, like how to make the pie crust pretty but using a fork or pinching it. Over the years I baked here and there for myself, or my friends and family. It’s always been something that comes naturally to me and something truly makes my soul happy. In 2015 I started a small cake pop business, serving only family and friends and found out how much I love chocolate work and making people smile with my baked goods. In 2020, I decided to turn my love of baking into a real business when I was baking myself low carb/low sugar treats. I wanted to share my love for baked goods with my community. Dadgum Sweets started out as a low carb/low sugar bakery, serving those who want to have their sweets and eat them too, and has quickly evolved into something much more! We serve all of Madison County as a licensed bakery, as well as serve Kentucky Proud products! We farm our own Kentucky proud eggs and our own certified Kentucky honey! We are a Preorder bakery but we make it easy through our ordering app and if you don’t see it on our menu please ask and we would be happy to make it!
