Youth sports has taken over my life and I haven’t been able to bake as much or as often as I’d like…but today I planned ahead and have a few extras available!

Artisan loaves $10 each - 3 available

Apple cinnamon scones 2 for $8 - 3 boxes

Pick up is this evening - 5pm at Madison Southern High School parking lot (near the soccer field)

Happy Monday bread friends!

I haven’t been baking much this summer, lots of chauffeuring my kids around (happy to do so while I still can, babies don’t keep!) , but I’m ready to get back to it!

Bread orders open for this week! Keeping it simple with standard favs for now:

Pickup will be FRIDAY, at Farristown Middle school in Berea. If you need other arrangements let me know and we’ll see what I can do!

Happy summer bread friends!

Just got back from a weekend of soccer and the first thing I did was feed my starter to bake this week!

This Thursday I’ll have artisan and sandwich / cinn swirl loaves available.

It’s full force Maycember here at IceHouse Farm! We’ve got a 5th grader moving to middle school AND an 8th grader moving to high school. Not sure how these babies got so big. 😭❤️

I’ll be taking a pause as we finish up the soccer season and soak in all the end of the school year festivities. Baking will commence in a few weeks once we get to the lazy days of summer!

Bread friends, sadly there won’t be a pickup day this week.

I lost my sweet daddy last week, and I had hoped I’d be able to get it together and bake my emotions out, but I don’t think I can do it.

My dad was many things, one being a lover of food. He enjoyed my sourdough as much as you all do. Every time I’d go to visit him I’d bake a few loaves of artisan for his freezer (and sandwich bread for my mom before she passed).

He’s part of the reason I love baking as much as I do. It’s a long family history back to when his parents owned a little farm and deli. The roots run deep. Always made me feel so proud that he enjoyed what I made, and it reminded him of his mom.

Thanks for your understanding and hopefully back to business as normal next week. Here’s a photo of us both in our younger years.
