Another homemade fruit filling in the works at Lucky Day Confections!

I call this one liquid gold! 💛

It starts with raspberries picked from our garden this summer and tucked away in the freezer. I cook them down and strain out all the seeds to make a smooth, delicious raspberry filling.

I’ve used this in and on cheesecakes, cakes, cookies, and of course, my favorite way… sweet rolls!

A little taste of summer saved for another season! ❤️

Pictured are cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing, some with glaze, some with pecans, and cherry sweet rolls with cream cheese icing.

🍓 A little batch of homemade strawberry filling today!

All of my cinnamon roll and sweet roll fillings are made from scratch, and many are made with fruit grown right in our own garden, including strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries.

One of my favorite parts of baking is getting to use what we’ve grown! ❤️

During my little break from baking, I’ve been working behind the scenes and tweaking some of my recipes… and I think my Gluten-Free Cinnamon Rolls may be better than ever! 🤎

They’re fluffier, softer, and more tender than my previous version—and I’m really happy with how this batch turned out!

I snapped a few pictures along the way because gluten-free baking definitely has its own process. For GF orders, I use separate mixing bowls and utensils, and I cover my work surface with plastic wrap to help prevent cross-contact while rolling and assembling.

Then comes the best part… plenty of cinnamon filling, a good rise, into the oven, and a generous layer of cream cheese icing or glaze.

I’ve missed baking for you all, but apparently a little time away gave me time to make a good thing even better.

🍂 Lucky Day Confections is taking orders again! 🍂

It’s been a while since I’ve posted an order form, and I’m excited to get back into the kitchen! ❤️

This time around, I’m keeping things simple and manageable. Teaching full-time is my priority, but I still love baking and sharing some of your longtime Lucky Day favorites with you.

My Fall 2026 Order Form is much shorter than my order forms in the past, but it includes plenty of favorites:

🍓 Sweet Rolls in a variety of flavors — made with homemade fillings! Many of my fruit fillings are made with fruit grown right here in our own garden. 🌱🍓🫐

🌾 Gluten-Free options available for a small additional charge

And, of course, everything is made from scratch in small batches, just as it always has been.

📅 A quick reminder about ordering:
Because I also work full-time as a teacher, I need at least 3 days’ notice for all pre-orders. This gives me enough time to plan my baking schedule and make everything fresh for your pickup day.
