But, what the world doesn’t always see is continuing to show up in the midst of some really challenging seasons. Running a business doesn’t pause when life gets tough. Most days, being a business owner means doing your best with whatever you have that day.

I’m exactly where I want to be, but that doesn’t mean it is easy. This business wasn’t just built on luck. It is built on continuing to fight for my dream even on days it feels impossible🩷

We’ll work with you to make sure that each and every person in the room gets to enjoy 🍰

E & M had family members & friends with an abundance of different dietary restrictions & preferences, and they wanted to make sure that their event was as inclusive as possible.

All of the items were gluten-free (as always!), and we added in a few vegan & nut-free options, plus lots of flavor variety!

Just a little catastrophic bts for your Wednesday 😂

If it looks like I have it all together, I promise I don’t.

I do my best to avoid moments like this at all costs (mostly because I hate messes - helloooo sensory issues), but sometimes the stars align and things fall apart, both literally and figuratively 🫠

Sharing as a little reminder that behind every pretty cake is years of practice, hours of fixing mistakes, and many moments of frustration.

I’m learning more and more each day that good bakers are good at fixing mistakes! Though maybe that’s just life in general?

I’m proud of myself for pushing through and finding solutions in the midst of sticky situations, and I hope you are too 💗

There’s a big reason not all of our cakes are gluten-free AND vegan.

Providing the highest quality gluten-free cake you can find is my top priority, and I truly believe that gluten-free cake tastes best with dairy & eggs

I do my best to make reallyyyy good gf & & df & vegan cakes, but personally, df buttercream isn’t my favorite. Every vegan butter I’ve tried (and I’ve tried quite a few) A) is too sticky or something horrible for my sensory issues iykyk and B) makes my tummy hurt. I know and completely recognize this isn’t everyone’s experience, but my tummy is a special one 🙃

But also, I struggled this week because I like the vegan & gf chocolate even more than its “just gf counterpart” 😮

We’ve been stepping up my game in terms of chocolate quality, and when I say that this one blew me away when I tasted it…..

Long rectangular cakes are all the rage in the wedding world right now, and as a baker- I’m a big fan 😁

Saw a reel with a cake by this week where the couple blew out candles along the cake and met in the middle, and I think I liked that even more!

I scoured the internet for an example of a long cake with pressed flowers, but I came up empty, so this was a bit of improv. What do we think??
